Jake Roberts' False Teeth, Bobby Eaton's Heart Attack, Juventud
Former WCW wrestler Bobby Eaton did indeed suffer a heart attack a few weeks ago. He denied having it because he didn't want his bookings to be canceled. He was back wrestling less than two weeks after his heart attack. Also, now he is doing wrestling angles based on the attack. During the 10/26 show in Alcoa, Tennessee, they brought back the heart punch gimmick for his opponent to use on Eaton as a finisher. The promotion explained to the crowd before the match that Eaton had "numerous complications with his heart over the last few months."
This is a few weeks old, but I don't believe its been covered. On Univision.com, there is a published photo of a sad Juventud Guerrera standing by an open casket to say his final goodbye to AAA founder Antonio Peņa - who passed away on October 5, 2006. Though he's 51 years old, Jake "The Snake" Roberts recently wrestled at a small independent show in Toronto and it was revealed that he now has false teeth. Just prior to the match, he pulled out his false teeth and gave them to the referee to hold while he wrestled.
