WWE NOTES & NEWS ON DEEP SOUTH WRESTLING, DX, STARS REMOVED FROM ROSTER, RON SIMMONS AND MORE

The advertising campaign for this January's New Year's Revolution PPV will feature DX as dressed like figures from the Revolutionary War.

I'm not sure how much to look into this yet, but the Gymini have been removed from the Smackdown roster on the WWE website.

WWE developmental territory Deep South Wrestling has started to fine wrestlers $250 for breaking kayfabe while in public together in places like restaurants and bars. Considering some of the workers under contract are making $500 a week, that's a big hit to take. DSW recently raised ticket prices to $5. There's been a drop in attendance of late at the events, with some blaming the ticket prices (they were free at one point).

Tommy Dreamer has a new column on the ECW website looking at the respect (or lack thereof) in some of today's wrestling world at this link (http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/commentary/dreamer/110406diary1).

For those of you looking for that perfect holiday gift, WWE has released a Ron Simmons "DAMN!" T-shirt.

i think it's stupid wrestlers are being fined for not staying in character. it's impossible to be in character 24/7
