Paul Heyman Interview Recap
Paul Heyman was interviewed by Live Audio Wrestling days before his WWE dismal. Here are the highlights:
- Heyman feels the original ECW audience has dwindled down, because the current ECW product is significantly different.
- “This is not Paul Heyman’s vision for ECW,” stated Heyman. ECW is the McMahon’s vision of ECW. “It’s not going to be the same as it was,” said Heyman.
- Heyman dismissed the notion that Bobby Lashley is going to get a Brock Lesnar push, as they are different. Heyman put over Lashley’s toughness.
- Heyman said he has considered working in the MMA world.
- He said his mission is to make the December to Dismember PPV (remember, this was taped days before the PPV) and ECW television as good as he could. He said he is focused on making ECW mean something.
- Heyman said he doesn’t believe ECW is a guaranteed forever product.
