Bret Hart Interview Recap
Hart recently appeared on Live Audio Wrestling to plug his play “Aladdin,” which plays in Toronto through Christmas.
- Hart said there is potential for future acting roles. Hart said acting takes a lot of work, more than he realized.
- Hart hasn’t been able to convince his wife to move from Italy to Calgary.
- There is no title for Bret’s upcoming book, and is currently being edited. Hart predicted it will be out next fall.
- Hart said he understands why the book has to be edited, as he wrote the book in great detail.
- He said The Rock, Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair’s book are “crap,” but enjoyed Mick Foley’s book.
- In terms of the Dynamite Kid’s book, Hart said his memory is poor and he didn’t give himself enough credit.
- Hart said he wouldn’t say never in terms of going to TNA, but doesn’t know what type of role he could do there.
- Hart said he likes the TNA product, but doesn’t like their six sided ring.
- Hart said having two wrestling companies gives wrestlers leverage, and is good for competition.
- He said “Aladdin” is a way to go out without getting into the ring, and said the play is a lot of fun.
- Hart said he has been working on his book for seven years, and believe he has an interesting story to tell.
- Hart said he can not take bumps anymore, which would pretty much rule out him training other wrestlers.
- Hart said his son Dallas, who starts training with Lance Storm next month, is serious about wrestling but may pursue other interests.
