WORLD SERIES KEEPS AWA AT NUMBER TWO, JIM ROSS WEIGHS IN ON THE NUMBER OF PPV EVENTS AND MORE
The 2006 World Series DVD has managed to top the Billboard Recreational Sports DVD Sales chart for the second straight week, keeping the WWE's AWA DVD at number two. The Hulk Hogan Ultimate Anthology remains at number three, while the History Of The WWE Championship is actually moving back up the charts, landing at number five after 13 weeks on shelves. The Roddy Piper DVD set drops to number six, TNA's 50 Greatest Moments holds steady at number seven, and DeGeneration X and Unforgiven swap places from last week, landing at number nine and ten respectively. You can see the full chart by clicking here. (http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?g=Videos&f=Video+Sales+-+Recreational+Sports+DVD)
Jim Ross has posted yet another batch of feedback to questions and comments he has received on his official website. In this set, he talks about the possibility of Curt Hennig being put in the Hall Of Fame or having a "Mr. Perfect" DVD released, his thoughts on Samoa Joe, Mike Tenay, John Cena, and a lot more. One of the more interesting comments JR makes is in regards to the number of PPV events, stating "I would suggest that there are too many wrestling pay per views in general but the market will determine if my opinion is right or wrong."
