WWE Summerslam Sells Out In 40 Minutes & Referee Moving

The Following Is From WWE.com:

Tickets sold out in just 40 minutes this afternoon for the 20th annual SummerSlam which emanates from the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, N.J. on Aug. 26, 2007.

Just this past Thursday at a Raw live event in the very same arena, WWE announced that for the first time in more than 10 years, the "Biggest Party of the Summer" will return to the Garden State this August. This is all WWE fans in New Jersey needed to know to snatch up the hottest tickets of the summer in less than a single hour earlier today.

Be sure to check back with WWE.com and ticketmaster.com for announcements on additional seating being made available for SummerSlam as producion needs are determined for this event.

- Referee Mickey Henson is expected to be moved from ECW to SmackDown for television. On the road, it will be the same for him anyway.

Sure hope SS is better in 07 than in 06. Batista vs Booker was horrible.

It doesn't surprise me Summerslam sold out so quickly. Wether or not it's a crap show it will still sell out like WM would. But I do hope it's much better than what we saw in 06 becuase some of those matches were total let downs.

I think it sold out, wouldn't be surprised if they opened new seats in the near future.
