JIM ROSS COMMENTS ON RIC FLAIR CONTINUING TO WRESTLE, BROCK LESNAR'S POTENTIAL AND MORE

Jim Ross has posted his latest batch of feedback in his blog, which you can read by clicking here (http://www.jrsbarbq.com/blog/2007/01/02/jr%e2%80%99s-first-blog-of-2007/#more-85). Some highlights from this edition:

- For those that were wondering, Ross did make it make to his hotel room after Raw in time to watch the fourth quarter and overtime of the Fiesta Bowl as his beloved Oklahoma Sooners lost to Boise State.

- In regards to Ric Flair continuing to wrestle, Ross notes that since Flair is healthy he "should still do what he loves to do, and that is to wrestle".

- On whether Brock Lesnar had potential, Ross noted "Absolutely and he still does".

- In regards to TNA's ring, Ross says he doesn't hate it, but prefers the "squared circle".

- Ross feels that Ricky Steamboat belongs in the WWE Hall Of Fame, and when the question of Ultimate Warrior going in is addressed, Ross notes that "Warrior’s acceptance speech would be “Iron Sheik Classic’."

- Perhaps the most interesting passage is where Ross comments on all of his past broadcast partners including Jerry Lawler ("the easiest to work with"), Paul Heyman, Jim Cornette, Bobby Heenan, Jesse Ventura, Roddy Piper, Michael Hayes and Randy Savage.

- Ross disagrees with those who feel Rey Mysterio is too small to be World Champion, answers the question of whether Hulk Hogan or Dusty Rhodes is a bigger star, comments on the UWF tape library, and more.

Always an interesting read.
