This year's WrestleMania, which will be emanating from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, is shaping up to be one of biggest events in WWE history. So it's only fitting that WWE will kick off this "Big Time" event with a "Big Time" star. From the multi-platinum group Destiny's Child, Chicago's own Michelle Williams will sing America the Beautiful to get WrestleMania 22 underway on Sunday, April 2.
Williams will be joining an elite list of recording stars who have kicked off WrestleMania including Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Reba McEntire, Ashanti, Willie Nelson and many more. WrestleMania 22 has been sold out for months, but you can still see Williams get things started live on pay-per-view April 2 at 7/6 CT.
