Edge Interview Recap
Edge was interviewed on the 12/31 edition of Live Audio Wrestling. Here are the highlights:
- Edge felt Vince McMahon had confidence in him as a world champion, but knew there were others that doubted him.
- Edge said he studies matches of his opponents in an effort to put on entertaining matches.
- Edge said Rob Van Dam’s arrest speeded up what they had already planned for him.
- Edge said he hasn’t seen any of Kurt Angle’s matches in TNA, only his head butt on Samoa Joe.
- He said friend Christian Cage enjoys working only three days per month, and appreciates the extra time being home.
- Edge said he doesn’t know how many good years he has left in him, lots depends on what WWE wants him to do.
- Edge said he wants to leave the business in a good way, rather than being forced into retirement.
- He said he is financially set, but continues to wrestle for the love of the business.
- Future goals include working with The Undertaker, main eventing a Wrestlemania, winning the ECW title, and helping young talent like Kenny.
- He understands that Hulk Hogan still gets a reaction, and why he returns to the ring.
- He was told Billy Red Lions had passed away, which is why he said “god rest his soul” in his book.

Vince is stopping Edge by letting Cena hold for months at a time. Why does he wanna hold the ECW title though? :dunno:
