Former WCW President Eric Bischoff and his longtime business partner Jason Hervey have formed an alliance with Bliss Beverage to promote its flagship brand, Socko Energy. Here's a press release announcing the alliance:

LOS ANGELES, March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Independent beverage producer Bliss Beverage today announced a formal alliance with two well-recognized and respected entities in marketing, public relations and entertainment to promote its flagship brand, Socko Energy. Production company Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment (BHE TV, LLC) will be responsible for branding Socko on a global level through non-traditional marketing, including brand integration. Top entertainment marketing and public relations firm Bragman Nyman Cafarelli (BNC), recognized as a pioneer in marrying entertainment, pop culture, celebrity and non-traditional media relations on behalf of some of the world's biggest brands, will establish and raise awareness for Socko Energy.

"These alliances are all about Socko harnessing the power it already has with consumers throughout the country, and taking that excitement to the next level," said Jordan Harwood, president, Bliss Beverage. "Today's consumers aren't interested in only taking their cues from traditional advertising and media. They want to discover something authentic, bold, dynamic and different. BHE and BNC know how to get consumers' attention in the kind of compelling ways that we believe will lead to awareness, trial and, most importantly, brand loyalty for Socko."

"Jordan Harwood and Mike Jannicelli are two dynamic entrepreneurs who have created an exceptional product," said BHE partner Jason Hervey. "We're dedicated to growing the company by leveraging unique media partnerships that deliver quantifiable results."

Together, BHE and BNC will work with Socko to seek out additional non-traditional ventures in the entertainment industry to support the brand's mobile marketing and advertising campaigns. Other plans for marketing support surrounding the roll-out of Socko Energy include brand integration in popular television shows and major motion pictures, event and experiential marketing and sponsorships, along with grass roots and underground tactics.

Current marketing plans for the brand include the Socko Energy Tour, a mobile marketing blitz featuring a Socko-wrapped RV and hot air balloon. The cross country blitz will target key markets including Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Washington, and Oregon, with presence and sampling at major events and retail locations. In addition to grassroots marketing efforts, Bliss has purchased advertising media in all distribution markets including billboards, radio, viral marketing, online advertising, and co-op marketing with various media outlets.

Socko Energy is the flagship product of Bliss Beverage. The Scottsdale, AZ-based company has developed an energy drink that appeals to a mass audience without succumbing to the latest "extreme" trends set forth by other energy drinks on the market today. The end result -- Socko -- a vibrant, eye-catching energy drink filled with clean, refreshing, non-heavy, healthy ingredients with a smooth taste and electrifying color. Socko, currently available in 16 U.S. markets, is quickly becoming one of the fastest growing independent energy drinks in the country.
