WWE News: Overnight Smackdown rating, Raw vs. Smackdown 06

The overnight numbers for Friday's edition of WWE Smackdown are in. The show did a 2.6 rating, which has continued the downward trend that Smackdown has been in for the last few weeks. The rating also doesn't say much for fan's interest in the hype for the Smackdown portion of Wrestlemania 22.


Good news for the WWE in the "land down under", as Raw vs. Smackdown 2006 for the Playstation 2 was the 8th highest selling video game in Australia this past week.

WWE needs to do something drastically to make Smackdown more interesting, than it has been lately. Most notably, they might have to look for a new t.v. channel to air Smackdown on. Because WWE has been with UPN for years, but now perhaps is the time to change
