Jim Ross To Call Raw Matches At Wrestlemania Instead Of Joey Styles

Joey Styles has been dealt a huge blow as he will not be calling the Raw matches for Wrestlemania even though he is the lead Raw announcer. The announcer taking Joey Styles place as the lead Raw announcer at Wrestlemania will be none other than Jim Ross. They were both informed of this news on Monday.

As late as two days ago, Jim Ross assumed his role during Wrestlemania weekend would be to host the Hall of Fame banquet. It was announced on Raw last night that Jerry "The King" Lawler will be hosting the Hall of Fame banquet.

coach will make WM22 on the RAW side of things even if the wrestling is great, i like coach but if he does call the matches at main22 i just hope he dont make a mess of it.

It says everything will be normal, just J.R. replacing Joey Styles. That means, Coach, J.R. & King.

I like Joey (probably cos Im an ECW nut....), but JR is the best announcer in the business. It'll probably be the three of them, but it'd be better if Coach had some sort of backstage roll. Not sure if he should be calling Mania matches...

coach is great as a suck ass and backstage.....but he sucks at the annnounce table... jr and king or add styles to those two...

Good to hear that Good Ole J.R. is gonna be back behind the booth. Joey Styles catches too much flack for the RAW announce team in my opinion. He's not the greatest but he's MUCH better than Coach.
