Well I turned in my resume for a supervisor job at work. I really need to get off the floor. My body is so broke down from the work. I only have one person who I am worried about out of the 6 of us that put in for it. But I am hoping for the best for him too. There are different jobs in management out there right now and I am just trying to get one of them. Hopefully they will throw me a friggin bone here. Maybe I should work on my attitude a little bit. But a couple of the higher ups told me I should put in for it so hopefully it pans out.

I wouldn't say it's a bad attitude, but it's not the best in the world. That and I joke around to much at work so I need to curb that a little.

Supervisor jobs are terrible. I was an engineer at the last plant I worked at and I would occasionally supervise in the packing room if the normal supervisor was out for some reason(I was the lead man on the packing team when I started so I knew how everything worked) and I hated it. People are lazy and only do the minimum they can in order to not be fired. The money is alot better, but its too stressful. I never want to supervise again, I just want my next job to pay me well while not having to deal with other people. Anyway though, if thats what you want then I wish you the best of luck.

Well right now it won't be on the production floor, so it will be less stressful. And it will get me into engineering at that plant. I had an offer to go to Canada to be an engineer but turned it down. (Thank god cause the plant is closing down in June.) But it gets my foot in the door. And gives me a foot in the door at other places as well.
what kind of engineering?

A process engineer. Coming up with programs for the new wheel programs we get in and making the current ones we have better. I love making wheels, spent my whole weekend doing it. :(

Aluminum. It's low pressure casting machines. We make mainly wheels for Honda, Nissan and Chrysler.

Bastards still haven't given me my interview yet. I was supposed to do it Friday but oh no, can't pull me away from my machines since I'm the only one that knows how to run them apparently. :hmm:
