Christina Aguilera is set to try her hand at acting.
The singer has revealed she has longed to become an actress for years and will be reading scripts while she is on the road promoting her latest album Back To Basics.
Christina is quoted by www.AccessHollywood.com as saying: "I've been reading scripts for a number of years now. I really am interested in acting as its own art form. While I'm on tour for Back To Basics I will be reading
scripts."
While Christina is keen to make it in Hollywood, she wants to find the perfect role before agreeing to make her movie debut.
She said: "I'm waiting for the right thing to come along. It's important it's the right role."
