Lost actress Michelle Rodriguez has revealed her frustration at wearing an ankle tag in a bizarre web ranting.
Rodriguez has to wear the bracelet following her 2005 arrest for drink driving in Hawaii while filming the hit TV show.
"Long story short. I finish my work over there in Hawaii, do my time, then I come to LA spend Christmas and New Years in rehab, 'cause it's the right thing to do," she wrote in a rambling entry on her website.
"I get bitch-slapped by Uncle Sam again in Hollywood. Do my time in LA, I get out in a couple of hours, I pay fines, do my community service, and I get a sentence to wear a bracelet for three months.
"The bracelet is to detect liquour content in your sweat every half hour.
"I go to get this thing put on and I realise this thing is like a freaking VCR, and why do they care if I drink, what am I gonna do, drink and walk over someone, I have no license.
"Anyway I put this contraption on and the second day the guy calls me and says you've got an alcohol reading.
"I was like, I haven't had any liquor. He's like, well you can't use Listerine, no shampoo, or soap, or lotion, or perfume, with alcohol in it.
"I tried to get them to put me in jail but they had their mind set on this bracelet."
Rodriguez revealed her tag at New York Fashion Week where she wore it openly at the Marc Jacobs show.
Rodriguez's legal problems started in 2004 when she pleaded no contest to drink driving and driving with a suspended license.
After her Hawaii arrest, she returned to California where she was given 60-days in prison for violating her probation.
Authorities eventually decided to let her wear the tag instead of serving the prison sentence.
