Chris sent the following: Just to let you know Rey Mysterio Jr was in Louisville KY Friday Night signing autographs at the Carl Casper Auto Show! I was there and got to meet him! He appeared to be getting healthier as he was walking okay being escorted to and from the stage!

David Walsh sent the following: In a recent interview aired on Wednesday 21st of February on my local radio station Beat Fm Bret Hart stated his anger and upset at WWE’s failure to induct his late brother Owen into this years HOF. He said that their over looking of Owen was disrespectful to the Hart family to Owens fans and Owens wife.

They've only inducted two people so far, so he still has a chance to get in.

Also, they'd induct him just to get Bret to show up again. Who else would induct him? So I bet they do induct him this year, but that's a guess.

Bret will always be upset with the WWE, he has turned into a bitter old man. Granted the WWE hall of fame is a joke and damn near anyone can get in, but Owen Hart did nothing to deserve getting into the HOF. Being the brother of a world champion,a slightly above average at best wrestler, and nosediving to your death is not HOF credentials. Everyone is always immortalized in death. For most these guys death is the best thing that ever could have happened to their careers.

^^ You serious? Owen Har isnt deserving of being in the HOF? :lmao: He deserves it more than Bret did!!

But your right about Bret being bitter. And I know he has ha health probs but Bret's bitterness really sows physically. Compare HBK who looks happy and healthy and admited his wrong doing and moved on where as Bret who looks old and warn out. He put himself in that situation in 97 for thinking he's so big he doesnt have to respect the company that made him and hand over the title before going to a rival company. Bret did screw Bret!!!

when did I ever say Bret deserved it either? I didn't, because he doesn't. He was an above average wrestler, but he wasn't that good on the mic and he never put asses in the seats.

I wasnt saying that you said Bret deserved it, I was saying that Owen desrves to be in the HOF more than Bret does. Owen loved the business and put everything he could into it without compromising his families integrity. How did WWE repay him? By giving him a lame Blue Blazer gimmick and getting a man scared of heights with flimsy equipement to glide from the roof to the ring and even though he was scared as shit he still did it because Vince asked. And that cost him his life so the least WWE can do is put him in the HOF as a nod to his effort in the business. Bret was about money and his own notority. Owen was opposite.

And JR has said that its not a matter of IF Owen will be inducted but WHEN.

WWE are probably just waiting for theright time for them to inducte him for thier own publicity when Bret returns again to WWE to induct his brother and probably for some interviews regarding his brother for a future DVD. Having Curt Henning in the HOF is probably enough deceased participants for one ceromony.

so you think people should get a pass into the HOF just because they gave alot of effort and agreed to a dangerous stupid stunt that eventually killed them? I thought it was talent,a long career, a history of 5 star matches, the ability to put asses in the seats and make the industry tons of money and things of that nature that determined whether someone deserved to be in the hall or not.

Ok Bret is one of the best of all time and one of my favorite's of all time. He needs to understand that it's not really up to him if he goes in the HOF. The WWE will put Owen when and if they want to. Personally I don't think Owen is better or even close to the 2 guys that have been chosen. Don't get me wrong I like Owen always have and twas a sad day when he fell to the mat. But Like it has stated he still might be inducted yet and that is for the WWE to take care of. I mean I didn't think Eddy should have went in last year was to early to do it. Eddy deserved to be in the HOF thou was just to early. But Owen could go in next year if not this year.

Also to Bret stop taking cheap shots at the WWE and just forget about it. Jeez already. I would have to say that Bret made a pretty good chunk of money with the WWE. He also became one of the best wrestlers of all time when he was there. Hey he got screwed, tell me one person that hasn't been screwed over in there life?
