Rebecca Romijn to wed Jerry O’Connell

X-Men star Rebecca Romijn says that ex-husband John Stamos was the first to hear of her engagement news. The model/ actress plans to wed actor Jerry O’Connell and wanted Stamos to hear the news from her first, before the news broke to the media. Romijn and Stamos have reportedly become good friends since their split in 2004 and she wanted to make sure Stamos was alright with the news.

Romijn goes on further, "When I got engaged again I let him know so he heard it from me and not other people, and I think he was grateful for that. John and I certainly don't have a regular relationship, but he's a great, great guy."
