BATISTA WILL NOT DEBUT HIP TOSS AT WM
Wrestlemania 23 news
March 23, 2007
After six weeks of intense training, Batista has failed to learn the new move he was hoping to debut at Wrestlemaina. WIR has been following the story of Batista's attempts to learn the move – called a hip toss – since he began the training six weeks ago.
WIR found Batista's trainer, WWE's Tom Pritchard, sitting on a curb in the alley behind WWE headquarters in Stamford, CT. Pritchard was drinking a bottle of Miller Lite, chain-smoking Pall Malls, and smelled as if he hadn't showered in days.
"Six weeks," Pritchard spat through clenched teeth. "Six weeks and he still couldn't do it! It's not hard. Its really not. Is it me? Am I a bad trainer? ANYONE can do that move. Hell, Bruce and I taught our 87-year-old grandma to do it as a rib. What the hell does he think he's going to do at Wrestlemaina? Just kick and punch, kick and punch, kick and…I just…leave me alone…"
At that point, a broken Tom Pritchard fell into a puddle on the street and wept uncontrollably.
Six weeks? :lmao: Poor Batista
