Smackdown/ECW House Results - 24th Mar 2007
Location: Chihuahua, Mexico

NOTE: The show was very empty, they only sold like half the seats to be honest. However, Ringside area was almost full.

Super Crazy defeated Gregory Helms via pin fall.- Super Crazy was SUPER over with the crowd. The crowd even started a "Culero" chant alone. After the match ended, Umaga came and applied the Samoan Spike to Helms and Crazy.

Mark Henry defeated Funaki via pin fall.- Funaki was glad that I recognized him as the Numbah One Announcer. It was a Squash Match, but hey, with those names in there it was obvious.

Kristal Marshall defeated Jillian Hall via pin fall with Ariel as Special Guest Referee.-Pretty good for a match between these two. A little sloppy in some places, but it was ok. Jillian tried to sing while applying a lock to Kristal. After the match, Jillian argued with Ariel, which finished in Ariel and Kristal taking off Jillian's shirt.

King Booker w/Queen Sharmell defeated Matt Hardy via pin fall. Good match, with Booker dominating a good part of the match. Before the match started they worked the crowd, Matt Hardy with his fans, and King Booker with his little fans and lot of boos. In between the match King Booker did a Spinarooney! The end came when Queen Sharmell low blowed Hardy and King Booker applied the Scissors Kick for the three count.

ECW Champion Bobby Lashley defeated Umaga via DQ by interference from Armand Alejandro Estrada. Estrada cut a promo saying how he knew Spanish, so they'd better calm down (after another "Culero" chants started). That even though he knew Spanish, he had nothing to do with us Mexicans. Umaga later had a tantrum attacking me and people around, taking out a chair (that hurt one of the people) and returned to the ring. Estrada later called Lashley to the ring. The match was completely controlled by Umaga, but Lashley got some offenses. When Lashley was going for a three count Estrada ran and attacked Lashley causing the DQ.

After an intermission...

The ECW Originals (Rob Van Dam, Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman and Sabu) defeated The New Breed (Matt Striker, Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn and "The Alpha Male" Marcus Cor Von) when RVD pinned Burke after a Five Star Frog Splash. Before the match Burke raised the finger to a little kid in the crowd. Marcus Cor Von and Elijah Burke worked the crowd all the match. Sabu seemed pretty weird before the match. Highlight probably was when Dreamer applied a Neckbreaker/DDT combo to Striker and Burke. The finish was when The Originals and the New Breed were brawling outside the ring (Sabu got his leg hurt for being hit with the fence) while RVD got the three count on Elijah Burke in the ring.

After the match, The Sandman started drinking beer, he gave one to RVD, one to Sabu and one to Dreamer. Dreamer later climbed the stadium with the mid section to celebrate. RVD celebrated in the ring but later joined Dreamer, they later went backstage.

United States Champion Chris Benoit defeated Montel Vontavius Porter via Submission. Pretty good match, a little repetitive at some times. MVP was controlling most of the match, and Benoit was having lucky shots to connect either Sharpshooter or Crippler Crossface. The end saw Benoit applying the Crippler Crossface after a six Geman Suplexes series and getting the victory via submission.

After the match Benoit called a kid to lend him the Eddie Guerrero Tribute T-Shirt he had, which had a huge Eddie chant. He looked at the shirt and gave it the belt, he later took the belt and returned the shirt.

We were told that WWE was very happy with the show and they hoped to come back soon. (They didn't say they will come back in July, so I guess it was a One Night Stand).

MAIN EVENT
World Heavyweight Champion Batista defeated Ken Kennedy via pin fall to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.- Before the match Kennedy used his usual pose for a mic, but as the stage didn't had the mic to do that, they took the normal mic and lowered it. He later said that how were we "Chihuahueños" tonight (BTW, is it Chihuahuenses, not Chihuahueños), and asked about "Chilangos" (Mexico City citizens). He later said that he will walk tonight as World Heavyweight Champion. When Batista came, he took one of the kids posters, and ripped it off in front of him. The crowd started calling Kennedy an "As$hole", and he pointed to Batista, but the crowd pointed him. Batista later called him a "C*ck Sucker". The match was very short, and Kennedy worked pretty well the heel part. Batista looked better in the ring in this show than on TV.He even continued with Kennedy's work with the poster taking him to where the kid was. The end saw Batista hit the Batista Bomb for the three count.

After the match Batista celebrated in the ring, while Kennedy worked the hurt loser heel part. He even called the model on ringside to come and help him, but he started rubbing her legs. He then hugged the legs of one of the security guys, and was helped to the back by the ref. Batista returned to the ring, and asked for silence, and started crying and dancing like Eddie Guerrero. Closing the show with Viva La Raza.
