During the break: Referees check on McMahon in the ring as the crowd chants for HBK. They help him to his knees and start to slide him out of the ring under the ropes. He glares at them and they back off until he holds his shoulder in pain. The refs help him to the back and he turns and glares at the crowd. They respond with a chorus of boos. Rob Conway makes his way to the ring immediately after McMahon is through the curtain.
During the break: A "See No Evil" trailer airs that looks to be new and will probably be shown commercially to promote the film on different TV networks.
During the break: Maria comes out to the ring for the Kiss Cam. The first couple was already making out and probably knew what was coming. The crowd popped for an older couple and booed two guys who didn't do it. Two guys in cow suits kissed and got a big pop from the crowd. A guy dressed as a Spirit Squad member snuck a kiss on the girl next to him. This might have been the longest kiss cam ever with all different-sex couples kissing and at least 15 different couples shown.
During the break: Armando Alejandro Estrada gets on the mic and tells every to listen to him. He says his name and presents the unstoppable Umaga: the man who took out Ric Flair, who shows no mercy, and who will put Shawn Michaels back on the highway to Hell. Umaga stares at his wrapped thumb and bites it as his music starts up again.
During the break: There was no Unlimited segment between the Umaga/Michaels match and the Matt Striker segment.
During the break: Candace is with Goldust and Snitsky backstage holding cheese. She questions it and Goldust asks what else do you need to know other than the fact that it's pure Wisconsin cheese. She wants to know what they want her to do with it and Goldust whispers in her ear. She says that that makes sense but then questions what the peanut butter, midget, and harmonica are for. Goldust whispers some more and says that he'll stick the cheese in her ... and smear the peanut butter all over the .... As for the harmonica, Snitsky says she really doesn't want to know what he'll do with that. She finally agrees to the proposal, saying "I'll try anything once." The pair smile in glee and run off as Goldust picks up the midget and runs off to join them. The camera zooms in on someone reading the Money section of USA Today. It turns out it's Ted DiBiase, who gets a pop from the crowd and does his signature laugh. Funny stuff.
During the break: The Spirit Squad are freaking out about their win and decide to do a cheer: Fighting RVD is like fighting a girl, Ladies and Gentlemen here are the Tag Team Champions of the World! They do a roll call and once again Mikey looks to be having a seizure when saying his name. For some reason, they then replay Trish dressed as Mickie telling Maria about her big surprise.
During the break: Todd Grisham comes down and has 3 Backlash shirts signed by RVD for whoever can answer trivia. The first person he asks is the sign guy with the red ball cap who slowly and shyly says "My name is ..." Todd says he's too slow and goes ahead and asks the question: Who did Harley Race beat in 1983 for the AWA title, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, or Tommy Rich. Sign guy says Rich and is incorrect as it was Flair. Becky from Beardstown, Ill. is asked which 2 stars faced each other finally at the 1998 Survivor Series: Rock and Mankind, Austin, or Undertaker? She says Rock and Mankind and is correct. The last guy is asked at what event the Hell in a Cell debuted at: Bad Blood, No Mercy, or Unforgiven? The crowd all yell out 'A' and he gets it right. Todd throws the last shirt into the crowd.
During the break: Edge gets on the mic and says he could be very egotistical and brag about how he's going to win at Backlash, but instead ... he'll let Lita do it. She tells St. Louis to listen up as the 'hoooo' chants pick up. She says St. Louis will finally have a hero to cheer, not like some fat cheater like Mark McGuire. They might even want to name an interstate after Edge because it will be the highway of love. She says they are finally going to have the hottest, sexiest, rated-r ... she gets cut off as Unlimited goes black.
