- Writers Alex Greenfield and Dusty Rhodes first pitched the idea of Mr. Kennedy winning the Wrestlemania Money in the Bank ladder match back in August of 2006.
- Melina vs. Mickie James for the WWE Women's Title and Chris Benoit vs. MVP for the WWE U.S. Title are matches under consideration for the 4/29 Backlash PPV card.
- Speaking of the WWE's women division, the decision for Melina to go over on Ashley at Wrestlemania was due to the Playboy covergirl's attitude in becoming more difficult to deal with. Ashley's heat opened the door to Mickie James regaining her spot.
