Show: Wrestling Epicenter
Guest(s): Colt Cabana & Scott Steiner
Date: 4/19/06
Your Hosts: James Walsh, Brendon Brooks, Ben Benya, & Francine

What a difference a week makes, huh?

The archive of perhaps our most critically acclaimed broadcast ever is now online. This show, taped last Wednesday, features Francine, Colt Cabana, and the entire teleconference with Scott Steiner. Jam packed and probably the most fun I ever had behind the microphone in months.

First, Colt Cabana stopped by and that guy is a riot. I think you guys better take note of this up and coming ROH star... He's actually got some spunk to him and can wrestle... He's got the sizzle and the steak! I love it!

Also joining the show last week was "The Queen of Extreme" Francine. This was just days before she received the contract from the WWE and it probably will be her last show until she gets the go-ahead to at least come on to say godbye or for good depending on what the contract states.
If we don't ever get to have Francine on again in the same compacity she has been for the past year, I, James Walsh, want to thank her for giving up her time every Wednesday and for becoming a part of the Wrestling Epicenter family. I'm sure I speak for Ben, Brendon, and even Chuck when I say we all were honored to have you as part of the show and we couldn't be happier for you. We all wish you the best, you deserve it! And, finally, thank you for making our show special just by being a part of it.

Of course you can still check out her site at www.MissyHyattandFrancineTV.com. I've been told she will be making an official announcement about the contract and the future of her involvement on that site in the coming weeks.

Now that I've shown the softer, gentler side of James Walsh, please do listen to us tonight at 11:30 Eastern on www.WrestlingEpicenter.com and "The Blaze" 1260 AM as we welcome ROH's Jeff Gorman and TNA Knockout So Cal Val to the show along with more light hearted banter and our opinions on all the week's news!

COLT CABANA INTERVIEW -
(Interview Conducted LIVE by James Walsh, Brendon Brooks and Ben Benya!)

Mr. Kennedy's theme leads us into the Live Colt Cabana interview!

After talking about Hoodlums (A record store at Arizona State
University), "gangsta boogie," and Colt saying "I thought Jay Lethal
was the whitest man on Earth." they go Colt's performance at
Wrestlemania 22. For Colt, it was just another booking, even though
most would consider performing at Wrestlemania, even as "Druid C," a
thrill.

Colt recently wrestled on RAW against Umaga, but under the name "Chris
Guy." It seems that Ace Steele, his trainer, got his head shaved by
Eugene using Colt's real name, so the use of "Chris Guy" was a
receipt. According to Colt, "We had a chuckle. We shared a moment."

Colt gives plugs for ROHWrestling.com and ROHVideos.com, saying that
if you're into pro wrestling, you'll like Ring of Honor. James then
goes into how some ROH fans are really arrogant. Colt says they're
just passionate about the product.

Colt thinks CM Punk is too talented to not be a superstar, and the
conversation segues into CM Punk's love life, as well as some
uncomfortable talk between Colt and James!

Colt prides himself on being both technically sound as well as having
a good character, and models himself on a couple of British wrestlers
who were the same. He also mentions Dusty Rhodes.

Colt enjoys going to Europe to wrestle, but he calls it "America Jr."
He puts over 1PW, a company he wrestles for, as one such group who
depends on American wrestlers for their shows.

Finlay's Current WWE theme brings us into the second half of the Colt
Cabana interview. Colt is a huge fan of anyone who was a star in
Europe, including Finlay. The conversation goes into the Finlay/Regal
feud, the WCW Garbage Dump match (where two wrestlers were almost
killed), and Black Bart's "Trash Compactor!"

"Good Times, Great Memories" was something Colt and Gabe Sapolsky came
up with. The title comes from a friend of his, but the conversation
segues into a "Chappelle's Show" bit concerning the "Good Times" TV
theme and the words "Hanging in a chow line."

Colt goes into his recently concluded ROH feud with Homicide.

Colt is in Ring of Honor, and is happy at the moment. He does get the
"WWE or TNA" question a lot, however.

After segue-ing through Scott Steiner calling the Spirit Squad a bunch
of "F-ing Retards," and Eugene, and Ken Doane's engagement to Mickie
James, Colt goes into how he loved all the characters while watching
wrestling as a kid. Colt also singles out Snitsky asnd Tyson Tomko as
looking like the same dude.

James brings up his recent interview with Gary Michael Cappetta, and
Colt does a set of perfect impressions of GMC, including "This is
Sting," "Flyin' Brian," and "The Z-Man!" This renders James unable to
ask his question for a moment! When James recovers, he asks "Who is
Colt Cabana?"

Colt's reply: "I got no clue. Colt's just some frat boy with a giant weiner."

Colt has many goals, including becoming a TV star in the US, becoming
a big star in Japan and to simply make a company a lot of money. He'd
also like to be able to put any future children he has through college
with his wrestling money. He also sneaks though one more plug for
ROHWrestling.com!

He ends with mentions of his website, www.coltcabana.com and his
MySpace page www.myspace.com/coltcabana
