Predictable? Who else desevers a shot at this point. Benoit is holding a title, and he has a JD match. Hardy is also holding a title, working for both brands almost every week. No face (or anyone) deserves the shot at smackdown except the previous number one contender who didn't officially lose, he drawed.

Also, bore fest? Look at the WM match, the Backlash match, or even tonight's SD match. Batista has stepped up so much lately. As for Edge, he is a great wrestler. I think this will be a great match.

It's not like it's going to be a long fued. It'll probably be a one shot fight, then Batista will want revenge on mark henry. RVD's leaving the company, CM Punk is in a fued AND on a different show, and Rey Mysterio isn't ready to come back yet.
