- Apparently Edge facing off against Shawn Michaels on RAW last night wasn’t the only event that Edge was featured in yesterday. Before RAW went live, earlier yesterday at the Reading, PA SmackDown! House show, Edge wrestled a match. Edge then also wanted to be on RAW last night so he made his own arrangements to get from Reading, PA to Hampton, VA, the site of last night’s RAW.

- After RAW went off the air, Edge was featured in an interview with Todd Grisham. In the interview he said that he was a man, and took Shawn Michaels challenge last night, even though he wasn’t prepared to wrestle on RAW.

Edge then went on to say that Shawn Michaels was on fire and Michaels did give it his all ,and that he wasn’t on his ‘A-Game’ and that he was saving his energy for this Sunday at Judgment day in his match against Batista. Edge then stated that he cant wait to get away from RAW and the crummy audience.

It struck me as odd that Edge did two shows but Batista couldn't or just didn't anyway. Wouldn't it have benefitted the match on Sunday to have Batista appear just not on Smackdown but RAW as well?

Edge is easily one of the best there is in the buisness. He goes out of his way to not only appear at the house show for the few fans that go, but then spend his own money to fly to VA and both cut a great promo AND wrestle for the national television audience. It'd be hard to find someone that gives more to the buisness.

And he is making good money doing it. Stuff like that is expected if you're the champ. It's cool but nothing spectacular.

It's not like he was going to be the champ on his show...he didn't have to have one last apperance on RAW, not to mention one last match. All he has to do is show up on smackdown.

i thought he should have won that match but it shows the real character of adam copeland having a match after he just got finished with a houseshow and letting micheals go over him even though he is the world champ
