Richards Discharged
Injured Rolling Stone Keith Richards has been released from a hospital in New Zealand, after a reported fall from a palm tree left him suffering from concussion on Thursday. The hitmaker, 62, was injured during his visit to exclusive Fiji hideaway the Wakaya Club resort. Following treatment in a Fiji hospital, he was later airlifted to Auckland's Ascot hospital, where staff kept him under observation. Hospital duty manager Geoff Sparks says, "I can categorically confirm Mr. Richards is no longer a patient in this hospital. He has been discharged." The veteran rockers have yet to comment on whether the guitarist's injury will affect their current A Bigger Bang world tour.
