IN the immortal words of their namesake Homer: Dough!
The Simpsons sisters brought stunned looks to the faces of diners at Sydney's swanky Glass Brasserie by ignoring the menu and ordering in a takeaway from Pizza Hut.
The cheeky stunt during their MTV-funded stay in the city earlier this month was proof millions of dollars can't buy you taste.
Singing siblings Ashley and Jessica stayed at the newly-refurbished Hilton and went for dinner at the hotel's eaterie which is run by Australian chef-to-the-stars Luke Mangan.
Rare venison. Grain fed beef. Veal. Barramundi. Coq au vin. None of them interested their tastebuds. Instead Jessica ordered from a nearby Pizza Hut - and had it sent to their table. Surrounded by four hulking bodyguards, the sisters chowed down on a large pepperoni with double cheese in complete silence, surrounded by shocked diners.
Mangan, who is one of the country's most awarded chefs and launched his own cooking talent gong the Lexus Young Chef Award in 2005, was overseas and not available for comment today, but Pizza Hut confirmed the order.
Pizza Hut's general manager of operations Kurt Whitlow admitted delivering to one of the world's top restaurants was "very unusual".
"We don't usually deliver inside actual restaurants," he said.
"It probably has to do with their familiarity with our brand and comfort in knowing what they are going to get.
"But it's fantasic from our point of view, and goes to show we will deliver anywhere."
