The Condemned starring Steve Austin is all but finished in theaters. This weekend marks the opening of Pirates of The Caribbean: At World’s End (officially debuting last night) in 4,362 theaters playing alongside two other blockbusters in Spider-Man 3 and Shrek the Third in just over 3,000 theaters.
WWE Films’ latest effort played in only 207 theaters last weekend and will be removed from all screens beginning today. With only four weeks in theaters, it marks the shortest run of any WWE Film to date. Last summer’s See No Evil flick starring Kane ran seven weekends in theaters and this past fall’s The Marine starring John Cena was in theaters for 12 weekends.
The Condemned will finish grossing $7,364,342 in the United States and $121,316 in foreign markets for an estimated grand total of $7,485,658.
