WWE sent out the following press release earlier today.

"Saturday Night's Main Event(TM)" Telecasts from Toronto this Monday for Air on Saturday, June 2nd

TORONTO, May 25 - World Wrestling Entertainment(R) (WWE) heats up Global's late night summer schedule as "Saturday Night's Main Event" returns for a special presentation on Saturday, June 2nd, from 11:30 p.m. - 1:00 am ET/PT for one of the biggest, strongest, strangest, smallest 90-minute extravaganzas ever seen on broadcast television.

Key matches include:

- WWE Champion John Cena(R) and the 7-foot, 3-inch 420-pound titan The Great Khali(TM) squaring off in a prelude to the highly anticipated rematch for the WWE Championship at the "One Night Stand(TM)" pay-per-view on Sunday, June 3rd.

- Batista(TM) and Chris Benoit(R) battle World Heavyweight Champion Edge(R) and United States Champion MVP(TM) in anticipation of title match showdowns at "One Night Stand."

- The WWE's strangest and smallest going head-to-head in a match that can only be seen to be believed.

For the first time ever, "Saturday Night's Main Event" will be taped LIVE from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada on Monday, May 28, along with Monday Night RAW(TM). Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster locations or by visiting www.ticketmaster.ca.

"Saturday Night's Main Event" debuted in 1985 in the United States, bringing professional wrestling to broadcast television for the first time and setting off two decades of success on broadcast and cable. The televised wrestling rumbles also launched a galaxy of multi-talented Superstars that crossed over from the ring to countless areas of American entertainment, such as Hulk Hogan, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, The Honky Tonk Man and King Kong Bundy.

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: WWE) is an integrated media and entertainment company headquartered in Stamford, Conn., with offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Toronto and London. Additional information on the company can be found at wwe.com and corporate.wwe.com.

The matches so far are crap if you ask me!

The show so far sounds like a regular show of RAW/SD!/ECW, which isn't the whole point of it but with the brands being more mixed now and the same guys being pushed, it'll happen like that and be a total bust.

But right now, I am pretty excited about seeing Edge and MVP team up as they're two of my favorite wrestlers currently in the company so that should be a blast.

Hopefully WWE realizes this is supposed to be special and adds some matches that reflect on that.

A bit pointless if you ask me, if you see Cena Vs. Khali for free at SNME then why be expected to pay for it at One Night Stand even though in my opinion Cena Vs. Khali is not worth paying 50p to see!
