Bryan Danielson has set his sights on the AEW World Championship which he hopes will finally be his when the promotion heads back to the UK for All In.

During the June 5, episode of AEW Dynamite, Danielson and the Blackpool Combat Club defeated Team CMLL. After the match, Danielson admitted that 2024 had not gone his way so far and referenced his high-profile losses this year. The American Dragon was disappointed in the way 2024 was going and reminded fans this is his final year of wrestling full-time.

Danielson's attention then turned towards the Owen Hart Foundation and he confirmed he will be a part of the tournament. The victor will receive an AEW World Championship match at All In this August. Danielson said that it might be his last shot, but it will be the best shot he’s ever had. The veteran did not compete at the inaugural All In event due to an injury.

The tournament finals will take place on July 10. Right now, Danielson is the only name confirmed for the upcoming tournament. Previous winners include Adam Cole and Ricky Starks.

Despite being with AEW for close to three years, Danielson has yet to hold any championship gold with the promotion in spite of multiple opportunities. At AEW Revolution 2024, Danielson competed for the Triple Crown (AEW Continental Title, NJPW Strong Openweight Title, and ROH World Title) but loss to Eddie Kingston. At the same event the previous year, Danielson lost to then AEW World Champion MJF in AEW's first Iron Man match.

Danielson is instantly a favorite in the upcoming tournament honoring the late Canadian wrestling great. This is a testament to the skills he brings to the ring with each match he has and fans can look forward to seeing more of him in the months ahead.
