Jordynne Grace's ultimate dream of a WWE & TNA crossover event seems more likely than ever before, thanks to her recent work in WWE NXT.

The reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion, Grace appeared on two episodes of WWE NXT and at the recent WWE NXT Battleground event. At the show from the UFC Apex, Grace unsuccessfully challenged WWE NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez. This was Grace's second PLE match for WWE, as the TNA-contracted performer also competed in this year's Women's Royal Rumble match.

With Grace's work in WWE NXT proving immensely popular, fans of both promotions have been speculating about more crossover between the two sides. Sitting down with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, the Juggernaut shared her hope for a crossover event.

“My pie-in-the-sky dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view. That’s something everybody–wrestlers and fans–would want to see.”

Jordynne Grace is hardly the only wrestler who wants to test their skills with talent from the other company. Shortly after Grace's initial appearance in NXT, WWE's Cedric Alexander set his sights on the TNA X-Division Championship. Similarly, TNA's Josh Alexander, Ace Austin, and Chris Bey expressed interest in competing in WWE.

At this time, no such crossover event has been confirmed but more crossover between the two sides is expected. At this weekend's TNA Against All Odds event, Grace will put her Knockouts Title on the line in an open challenge and many predict a WWE Superstar will answer the call.

Several women in NXT have expressed interest in TNA matches, and WWE is said to have an eye on former IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin. No matter what's next, the fact that such a crossover event is being considered possible speaks volumes as to how different WWE is today than in its previous era.
