Taking to his Instagram account, he shared an update and revealed that he sustained a ruptured bursa sac which will eventually heal. Fortunately, there was no signification tissue damage.

“No extensive tissue damage. Ruptured bursa sac that will eventually heal. I’ve had much worse, and as always let pain – and tequila – be the guide Back to work.”

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is currently filming 'The Smashing Machine' which is based on former wrestler and MMA fighter Mark Kerr. The Rock will be seen in the lead role, portraying Kerr in the movie. Meanwhile, Emily Blunt is starring in the role of Keer's wife Dawn Staples. Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions is producing the movie and will be distributed by A24. Benny Safdie is not only the director but also the writer and co-producer of the movie.

Before the filming of the movie started, The Rock made his highly-awaited return to the ring and pinned Cody Rhodes in a tag team match at WrestleMania 40: Night One. The following night, Cody Rhodes finished his story by dethroning Roman Reigns and winning the Undisputed WWE Championship. 'The Final Boss' then made his last appearance on the highly-exciting 'Raw after WrestleMania' as he handed something to the newly-crowned champion. It remains a secret what The Rock handed to Rhodes. However, he has promised to make a comeback and confront him.
