Jeff Hardy returned to TNA Wrestling during their Against All Odds pay-per-view. This was a big surprise for Jeff, as rumors about his AEW contract's status started to mount.

After Moose retained the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a "broken rules" match against Matt Hardy, Moose’s faction, The System, continued their assault on Matt and his wife Reby. Despite efforts from Nic and Ryan Nemeth, along with Joe Hendry, to intervene, they were overwhelmed.

In a turn of events, Jeff Hardy made a surprise entrance, wielding a steel chair to fend off The System. He delivered his trademark Swanton Bomb to Moose, standing tall alongside his brother Matt.

Now both Hardy brothers are in TNA Wrestling, but their contract status with the company hasn't been confirmed. Unlike some companies, TNA Wrestling has become a little more lax about making sure talent have contracts in certain instances, as Matt Hardy stated that he hadn't inked a new deal with the company yet.

Matt Hardy had previously hinted on his podcast in May about Jeff’s potential return to TNA, as Jeff’s contract with AEW was set to expire in June. It was reported earlier today that Jeff Hardy would indeed be returning to TNA Wrestling.

Both Matt and Jeff were in AEW until recently. Matt's deal with Tony Khan ended, and he was quite open about his free agency. Jeff's contract was extended for a bit more time, due to the fact that it was frozen while he was with All Elite Wrestling.
