Zero Hour - AEW: All Out Chicago Pre Show

Pre-Show:

Zero Hour is the pre show for AEW All Out at the NOW Arena in Chicago IL.

Renee Paqueete, RJ City and Jeff Jarrett do the sales pitch for the first half hour.


The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) w/Billy Gunn vs The Iron Savages (Bronson and Boulder) w/Jacked Jameson.

Tony Sicanvone, Matt Menard and Excalibur are on commentary.

Bronson and Bowens start the match by tying up and Beronson forces them to the corner. Each gets chops in the corner and then run the ropes. Bowens gets a sling blade and tags in Max. Boulder tags in and The Acclaimed doube team him, knockign him out fo the ring, but Bronson is able to get a doubel clothesline.

MxM Collection is watching the match backstage and posing. Boulder whips Max into the corner and goes to the apron. Max goes after Boulder’s eyes and then sweeps Bronson’s leg.Max iis then slammed into the Savages’s corner and they work him over with quick tags. Bronson eventually misses a diving headbutt, and Max tags Bowens in, and he cleans house.

Max is tagged in and they go for the Mic Drop, but Boulder intercepts and catches Max and Bowens, slammoing them both. Bronson gets on Boulder’s shoulder for the Avalanche Drop on Bowens for two, broken up by Max.

The Savages double team Bowens, and then stack the Acclaimed in the corner amnd try for a two man cannonball. The Acclaimed move out of the way, while Gunn attacks Jameson on the floor. The Acclaimed hit the Arrival and the Mic drop with Max covering Bronson for the pin and the win.

Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes, and Hologram vs The Premiere Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Davari, and Josh Woods) w/Mark Sterling

Sammy and Nese start out with arm bars and then run the ropes. Sammy gets a dropkick and Nese shoves him into the Athletes corner where Ariya works him over in the cornerer with quick kicks. He then gets a quick clothesline for a one count. Ariya tries a back body drop, but Sammy escapes out the back and we get Hologram and Nese.

Hologram gets a series of quick leaping kicks and as all of the Athletes get in the ring, he takes them all out. Hologram goes for a springboard off the top, but Woods gets a leaping knee strike for two. Woods gets a back breaker lariat combo for two. Ariya tags in and keeps up the work on Hologram. The Athletes work over Hologram with quick tags.

Hologram is finally able to get the hot tag to Dustin, who the crowd has been chanting for. Dustin cleans house. After a pin attempt on Dustin, the tag team siren goes off and everyone is in the ring fighting, and they spill onto the floor. Then we get each person gtetting a big move on the last person. Starling gets on the apron, he is pulled into the ring by Hologram and Sammy, and Dustin hits Sterling with a Crossroads. Dustin hits the Final Reckoning on Woods for the pin and the win.

Winners: Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes, and Hologram


The Bang Bang Gang (Austin and Colton Gunn, and Juice Robinson) vs The Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds)

Alex and Austin start and they run the ropes with Austin getting a swinging neck breaker. Silver and Juice tag in and Juice gets a senton. Uno comes in and gets slammed by the Gang. The Dark Order go to the top and the gang hit the ropes to crotch them all. All six men brawl in and out of the ring. Eventually, Juice is alone in the ring, and the Dark Order work him over with quick tags.

Juice is able to stack all of the Dark Order in the corner, and hits a cannonball into all three. Austin is tagged in and is cut off by Dark Order working together. Colton is able to tag in and he gets to run wild and tag in Juice. Everyone hits a clothesline until everyone is down in the middle of the ring.

Alex and Colton get leaping clotheslines on each other. Austin and Silver take each other out. Juice gets a series of strikes and the Juice is Loose on Uno for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Bang Bang Gang.


We then get the Costco Guys with RJ and Renee. I have no idea who they are.

Tony Schiavone is on the stage who brings out the injured Skye Blue. She says this building is special to her and she is doing everything she can to come back, but recovery is a waiting game. Mariah May comes to the stage and says she came out to have the AEW Women’s Title celebration…

…but she’s not going to do it in Chicago and heels Chicago and Blue. She then kicks out the crutch from Blue and knocks her down, and then lays in a series of strikes and starts to go after Blue with the crutch, but Queen Animata saves Blue before the crutch is used.


Top Flight (Action Andretti, Dairus and Dante Martin) w/Leila Grey vs Shane Taylor Productions (Shane Taylor and Lee Mortiarty) and the Beast Mortos vs Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Mike Bannett, and Matt Taven)

Andrretti, Bennett and Taylor argue about who will start the match and Taylor knocks Bennett out of the ring. Taylor tosses Andretti to the corner and works him over. Taylor goes to toss him again and Andretti is able to land on his feet. Taylor tags in Lee and they trader waistlocks. Darius Martin tags in and Dante tags in as well and they double team Lee. Daris tags in and he covers Lee for two.

Darius and Lee struggle to get control and Darius is whipped into the Kingdom’s corner and Strong tags in. Mortos is tagged in and he wipes out the entire Kingdom. Martin leaps onto Mrtos and gets an airplane spin and both men are dizzy. Dante avoids a charge from Mortos and gets a drop kick, but it allows Taven to tag in and he gets a monkey flip on Dante. Taven gets a big slam on Dante for two and Bennett is tagged in.

They keep Dante in the Kingdom’s corner to work him over. Taylor is able to get a tag on Taven and he and Taven have words until Taylor gets rid of Taven and works over Dante in his corner. Dante gets worked over by quick tags by Taylor’s team. Dante gets a tag to darius, who runs wild. Darius and Andretti are able to knock everyone to the floor and we get lots of brawling all over the ringside area. Mortos is able to get a tornado dive onto the men at ringside.

This is followed by all of Top Flight hits dives. Taylor is rolled into the ring and all three of Top Fight work on him until Andretti pins him for two, broken up by Taven. And it’s time for everyone to get a big move on the last person.

As the ring is cleared, Mortos hits Andretti with a spear. Strong gets a blind tag and steals the pin from Mortos.

Winners: Undisputed Kingdom

We are welcomed to the NOW Arena as the PPV kicks off, immediately taking us to a video package highlight the rivalry between MJF and Daniel Garcia leading to our opening match of the night.


MJF vs Daniel Garcia

Garcia goes after MJF in the corner with a series of stomps before Max tries to fight back…only to be sent right back for another series of stomps by Garcia. Max manages to evade another rush of offense to take a breather on the apron, before focusing on the neck of Garcia to turn things around. MJF sends Daniel to the corner not once but twice, before posing to a jeering Chicago crowd.

He goes back on the attack, but Garcia sends him back with a right hand to get back into the swing of things…but not for long, as MJF gets him on the ropes until the ref intervenes. Max backs away for the break, but just as quickly drops Daniel to the mat with a back suplex followed by a cravat. Both men back to their feet as Garcia gets caught with a lifted DDT, but it’s only good for a two count as Daniel kicks out.

MJF goes back to work on Garcia’s neck before hoisting him up for a delayed vertical suplex…but Garcia fights out of it, only for both men to go over the top rope to the outside! Both men are down as the ref begins the count, with MJF managing to stir first as he slides into the ring. Garcia appears to be completely out of it, until the ref reaches the count of nine…which brings Garcia to his feet, leaping under the rope to get back in the ring!

Both men are back to their feet once more, trading strikes until Garcia gets the upper hand to take MJF down to the mat, which is followed by a set of vertical suplexes and a twisting neckbreaker to wear Max down even further. Garcia continues the attack until MJF fights out of the corner, catching Garcia in midair to counter with a powerbomb for a nearfall.

Max pulls the bandage off Daniel’s head, biting into the cut before the ref intervenes…but MJF uses the opportunity to lay in some hard punches to bust Daniel open fresh off the glass bottle attack on Dynamite. Max taunts Garcia before hitting another right hand, and then points to the corner. He sets Garcia up on the turnbuckle, looking for a tombstone piledriver off the most dangerous rope…but Garcia fights out of it, going after the head of MJF instead! Garcia drops him down hard with a diving DDT, sending Max onto the canvas.

Daniel manages to drape an arm over the body of MJF for a cover, but Max gets a foot on the bottom rope to force a break. Garcia gets back to his feet, looking for a piledriver…but the wear and tear on his body forces him to drop MJF to the canvas without an attack. This gives Max an opening to get to the corner for a Long Island Sunrise for a cover of his own…but Garcia manages to kick out!

MJF gets to a standing position, mocking Garcia with some kicks to the head as Daniel starts to stir, rising to his feet with a look of rage on his face as he lands a flurry of strikes on MJF…who responds with a thumb to the eyes of Garcia, much to the crowd’s chagrin. Max calls for a brainbuster, but Garcia catches him with an inside cradle for a nearfall…only for MJF to reverse into one of his own, which in turn leads to a set of nearfalls for each man.

Both men get back up and go at it, leading to a roll up by Garcia for a nearfall that is reversed by MJF…but his body landing on the bottom rope forces a near-immediate break before the two get back up, only for Garcia to land a pair of German suplexes and a big clothesline to take Max to the mat.

Garcia back up as he looks for a piledriver, only for MJF to counter into a Boston crab…but Garcia is able to fight out of it, countering into the LeBell Lock! MJF fights out of it, rolling Garcia to his back for a break before locking in a crossface of his own on Daniel. Max is forced to break the hold as he grabs his neck in pain, and this gives Garcia an opening to catch MJF with a Sharpshooter.

Daniel wrenches it back, leading to Max fighting him off enough to counter into a Salt of the Earth…which he transitions into a modified cross arm breaker. MJF twists the body of Garcia further, eventually trapping both arms and keeping him at bay…until Garcia manages to catch the bottom rope with his foot to force a break!

MJF heads to the corner, looking for another Sunrise…but Garcia drops to the mat, forcing Max to drop back down. This turns out to be a ruse as Garcia catches him with a jackknife cover for a nearfall, before catching MJF with a front chancery. He lets go of the hold, only to set MJF up for a jumping piledriver that connects, allowing Garcia to make the cover…but MJF manages to kick out!

Garcia is back up, staring at the corner as he drags Max over, propping MJF up on the middle turnbuckle…but Max fights out of a piledriver attempt, biting Garcia’s head before shoving him away. The ref checks on MJF, who pulls him in as a human shield before hitting Garcia with a low blow and a jackknife cover that lets him snag the win tonight.

Winner: MJF

After the match:
MJF calls for a handshake and Garcia finally accepts. When MJF goes to attack Garcia, Garcia gives him a low blow and looks to the corner. He drags MJF to the corner and sets him up on the top. Garcia joins him, spits in his face and gives him the pile driver. Garcia then takes off through the crowd.

Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship tonight at AEW All Out.


AEW World Tag Team Championship
The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta)

We start off with Yuta and Nicholas as they lock up, with Nicholas wrenching the arm of Wheeler who fights back, leading to the two trading holds…until Yuta takes Nicholas to the mat for a senton, followed by a tag to Claudio! BCC with a double-team until Nicholas fights them off, only to be dropped with a double shoulder tackle.

Nicholas gets a sense of what it feels like to be a wishbone ahead of Thanksgiving, before he escapes for a tag to Matthew…but he gets the same done to him for his troubles! Yuta tags back in as this continues when Nicholas tries to get involved, and the Bucks both feel it before Nicholas escapes to the outside…hurting his foot when he kicks the barricade.

Back in the ring, Matthew manages to fight back enough for a tag to Nicholas who gets the upperhand on Yuta once more, keeping Wheeler in the corner as he tags Matthew back in to continue wearing Yuta down. Tag made to Nicholas once again, who sends Yuta down hard to the canvas before Matthew tags in for a double team further isolating Wheeler in the ring…but Yuta manages to make the tag to Claudio, who hits an uppercut on Nicholas in the corner before catching Matthew with a set of strikes.

The Bucks try to fight back but are sent back to the corner instead, allowing Claudio to alternate uppercuts on both men across the ring. They finally get out of the corner but are both sent down by Castagnoli, the champs trying to escape out of the ring only to be hit with more uppercuts against the barricade on the outside. He brings Matthew back into the ring, hitting a diving cross body for a nearfall!

He goes back on the attack before tagging in Yuta, who fends off Nicholas as Claudio props Matthew up on the second rope…as Yuta sends Nicholas flying from the top rope onto Matthew, forcing the latter to the outside! He fights Nicholas as Claudio goes after Matthew on the outside, but the Bucks turn things around until Yuta catches Matthew in the ring with a German suplex followed by the Cattle Mutilation, shades of Bryan Danielson…but Nicholas dives off the top rope to break the hold!

Claudio rushes in to send him to the outside as Yuta goes back after Matthew, only for the Bucks to turn things around leading to a cover by Matthew…but Yuta kicks out! Matthew sets Yuta up on his shoulders, looking for More Bang For Your Buck…but Nicholas is knocked off the ropes by Claudio as Wheeler gets a crucifix pin on Matthew for a nearfall.

Claudio makes the tag as he goes after Matthew, but the Bucks reverse into a BTE Trigger that gets a nearfall. They pump up their kicks for a Superkick Party, but a follow-up BTE Trigger is fought off by Claudio who ends up sending them to the mat with a double suplex…and Yuta catches Nicholas on the outside with a dive as Claudio hits a giant swing on Matthew back in the ring!

Round and round he goes, but with Yuta still outside Claudio is forced to drop Matthew instead for a cover, which only gets a two count as Yuta gets back on the apron. BCC looking for the double team but the Bucks fight it off, with Matthew going after Yuta ton the turnbuckle…until Claudio leaps up for an uppercut! He hits Matthew with a superplex followed by a splash by Yuta for the Fastball Special…but Matthew gets the knees up, catching Yuta with an inside cradle for the win to retain the tag titles!

Winners: The Young Bucks (Retain championshup)

PAC has earned a shot at the AEW International Championship and wants to make sure no one has forgotten about him as he faces Will Ospreay at AEW All Out!


AEW International Championship
Will Ospreay (c) vs PAC

PAC leaves the ring at the outset, drawing the ire of the crowd before things finally get going…but once they do, the two trade strikes and holds leading to a standstill between champion and challenger. Ospreay sent to the outside as PAC goes up top for a sky twister onto Ospreay on the floor. PAC brings him back into the ring, but the champion soon turns things around as he catches the challenger on the outside with a diving attack of his own!

We get a look at Ricochet watching on from backstage, as the action finally gets back into the ring with both men going at it once more. PAC gets the upper hand as he sends the champion to the corner for some stomps, until the ref intervenes…which only gives a brief respite for Ospreay before PAC goes after him again, followed by sending the champion to the outside. He sends Ospreay into the barricade, and as the action returns to the ring once more PAC sets the champ up on the top turnbuckle for an avalanche brainbuster!

PAC slowly makes his way over to Ospreay, cinching in a side headlock to keep the Aerial Assassin grounded to the canvas. Ospreay manages to make it to his feet, however, and we are back to the two trading strikes until Ospreay sends PAC to the corner…but the challenger turns it around on him, with both men leaving the ring as PAC sends Ospreay toward the barricade. Ospreay stops himself, getting the drop on the challenger instead before he slides back into the ring as the ref checks on PAC…but this gives Ospreay an opening as he lands a Sasuke Special on his opponent!

PAC is brought back into the ring, where the champ connects with a big kick for a cover…but PAC manages to kick out, keeping his hopes alive in this title match. He gets back up, sending Ospreay to the corner where he sets him up for another avalanche brainbuster…but the champ fights out, setting PAC up for a Cheeky Nando’s instead. PAC manages to turn things around for a DDT, followed a Liger Bomb that gives the challenger a nearfall.

Ospreay goes right back on the attack, setting up for an Oscutter that gets reversed by PAC…but the champion turns it around looking for a Hidden Blade. PAC escapes, setting him up for a pump kick before Ospreay retaliates with an Oscutter off the ropes, grabbing his neck in pain before going for the cover…and PAC kicks out once again!

Both men make it back to their feet as PAC goes for a swing on the champ…who counters with a nasty kick to the head! PAC gets to the apron as Will looks for an Oscutter…only for the challenger to counter into a suplex onto the hardest part of the ring! PAC sets the champ back up, hitting a poison rana onto the apron for more damage before sending Ospreay back into the ring to lock in the Brutalizer. Ospreay is struggling but refuses to submit, crawling toward the ropes before forcing a break with a foot on the bottom rope.

Ospreay is forced over to the corner as PAC goes up top, launching himself for the Black Arrow…which is countered into an inside cradle by the champ for a nearfall! Ospreay sets up for a Hidden Blade but that gets countered into a backslide, allowing PAC to build momentum as he counters a powerbomb into a hurricanrana for another nearfall!

PAC up to his feet again, nailing the champ with a kick for a nearfall before transitioning into the Brutalizer in the middle of the ring. Ospreay fights to his knees as PAC still has the hold locked in, only breaking it to go for a poison rana…but the champ counters with one of his own followed by a Hidden Blade! Ospreay with the cover, but PAC narrowly manages to get a shoulder up to stay in the match.

Both men slowly get to their feet as PAC sets Ospreay up on the turnbuckle for a superplex…but Ospreay lands on his feet, hitting a Hidden Blade! That only gets a nearfall, leading to Ospreay looking for the Storm Cutter…but that gets countered into a poison rana by PAC! Ospreay fights back for a Styles Clash, followed by one more Hidden Blade to get the win and retain his title tonight at All Out!

Winner: Will Ospreay (Retains championship)

The friendship between Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander has fallen apart, and now they collide in a Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out!

Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander

The two stare each other down before Stokely hands Statlander the chair they brought to the ring…but Nightingale evades the attack to send Kris to the corner for a cannonball senton and a nearfall. Kris rolls to the apron as Willow grabs the chair, setting it up on the hardest part of the ring for a Death Valley Driver…but Statlander fights back, eventually swinging the chair against Willow’s back. This culminates in Kris setting Nightingale up for a powerbomb through an announce table!

Statlander sets up a table before grabbing Willow, sending her into the barricade over and over again. She sets Nightingale up on the table, climbing the turnbuckle while pulling off the pad for footing…but as she launches herself for a senton bomb, Willow escapes the attack itself, only to be clipped on the head by Statlander’s leg!

Willow makes it back to her feet as she goes after Statlander rising up, sending her former friend through the barricade. The fight heads toward the ramp as Willow continues to lay out the punishment, hitting Statlander with a discus elbow to drop her to the ramp. She continues fighting Kris up the ramp now, expressing her anger as she sets up for a vertical suplex onto the stage…but Statlander lands one of her own instead, calling for Stokely to “grab the stuff” as Hathaway heads to the back for a trashcan full of various weapons.

Another suplex leads to Statlander looking to use a barbed wire baseball bat…but Willow fights back, grabbing a set of light tubes that she cracks over the head of Statlander! Willow looks like she’s firmly on a path of violence now, but it soon comes to a halt as Kris shoves her away before hitting Nightingale with a spear that sends both ladies off the stage and through a table! Statlander brings Willow to her feet before they head to the ring, but Willow soon manages to fight back until Kris hits a body slam…only for Nightingale to respond with one of her own, which leads to both women down on the mat!

They both end up leaving the ring, grabbing weapons before coming back in. Kris has a bag but Willow has a chain, which she uses on Statlander after getting slapped in the face…before biting at the head of her former friend! Kris eventually fights back, sending Willow away before unveiling thumbtacks from the bag. Statlander has Willow up, but Nightingale fights back…and evades an ax kick from Kris, forcing Statlander to land split-legged on the tacks! Willow hits her with the Death Valley Driver, but Kris kicks out!

The action ends up in the corner as Willow sets up on the turnbuckle, only to be fought off by Statlander…but who hits a Spanish Fly sending Nightingale down to the canvas! She grabs the chain for a discus lariat and the cover, only for Willow to narrowly get her shoulder up to stay in the match.

Kris leaves the ring, grabbing what is described as a dog collar before getting back in to put it onto Nightingale and herself. She goes back on the attack, but Willow has an opening to fight back before the two go at it trading strikes. This ends with the two dropping to the canvas before Kris sets up for a tombstone piledriver…but the Staturday Night Fever is not it for Kris, as she wraps the chain around the head of Nightingale! Willow has no choice but to tap out, giving Statlander the win tonight!

Winner: Kris Statlander

After the match:
Stokely, who ran off moments ago to evade Willow’s wrath, has returned to the ring to celebrate alongside Statlander while officials and medics check on Nightingale.


Backstage:
Renee talks to Will Ospreay who is thrilled to retain the International Championship tonight but calls out Ricochet to start racking up some wins and come see the champ. Ricochet steps in to congratulate the champ but also to confront him, promising he will see Ospreay soon enough.

Kazuchika Okada has quite the challenge ahead of him as he defends the AEW Continental Championship in a 4-Way Match against Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, and Konosuke Takeshita at AEW All Out!

Kazuchika Okada (c) vs Mark Briscoe vs Orange Cassidy vs Konosuke Takeshita

The four men stare each other down before Okada and Briscoe go at it, while Takeshita sends Cassidy to the outside. Okada does the same to Briscoe, leaving us with Takeshita and Okada in the ring…but not for long, as Cassidy slides in to taunt them with his hands in pockets. This is stopped by both men, but Cassidy gets Konosuke out of the ring before hitting a DDT on Okada for a nearfall. Takeshita back in as Cassidy and Okada are cleared out, but Briscoe comes in allowing these two to go at it.

We get the pair trading chops before Takeshita rakes the eyes of the ROH World Champion, who fights back to send Konosuke to the outside. Cassidy comes in, but a fight between the Conglomeration is broken up by Okada and Takeshita…leading to Briscoe and Cassidy sending them to the outside, followed by a pair of Cactus Jack-inspired elbow drops off the apron! They bring the two into the ring for a double cover, switching places for what ends up being two nearfalls and nothing more.

Briscoe lays into Takeshita before Okada intervenes, only to be fought off by Cassidy allowing Mark to get into it as well…but Takeshita fights him and Cassidy off, sending the latter down hard with a suplex. Briscoe hits one on Takeshita in response, only for Okada to hit a suplex on Briscoe. Cassidy’s back up, but Okada counters with a suplex sending him down as well. Briscoe hits one on Okada, only for the Alpha to nail him with one.

Cassidy tries once more, but Takeshita stops it…only for Orange to hit Stundog Millionaire, allowing him to finally hit a vertical suplex on the Alpha! Cassidy flexes as Takeshita gets to his feet, only to be caught with a boot from the corner by Cassidy…who gets dropped to the outside by Okada! Okada gets on the turnbuckle where Brisoce intercepts, sending him to the floor as well. Takeshita hits a dive on the outside, celebrating a little early as Briscoe has a chair set up for altitude as he gets the drop on Konsosuke!

We end up with Briscoe and Cassidy alone in the ring, the Conglomeration going at it with strikes before setting up for…a high five! The crowd cheers as they go back to fighting, only for Okada and Takeshita to break it up and clear them from the ring.

Okada and Takeshita give each other a wicked smile before going at it, with Okada setting up for a Rainmaker lariat…but Konosuke counters into a Blue Thunder Bomb, which gets him a close nearfall over the champion!

Cassidy tries to get involved but is hung up on the top rope by Takeshita, who lays into Cassidy before setting up for an avalanche brainbuster sending Orange to the mat…only for Briscoe to hit a Froggy Bow onto the Alpha! Cover by Briscoe, but the champ breaks it up.

The ring gets cleared out save for Briscoe, as Okada taunts the crowd…only for Briscoe to counter for a Jay Driller attempt. He ends up hitting a lariat on the Rainmaker instead, before Takeshita rushes in for an attack that is met with a DDT by Cassidy. Briscoe and Okada are cleared out as Cassidy goes for a Stundog Millionaire on Konosuke…but Takeshita counters into a tombstone piledriver followed by a deadlift suplex!

Briscoe catches Takeshita with a Jay Driller, but Okada pulls him out of the ring to break the pin. Chaos ensues, until we are left with Cassidy and Takeshita, who looks for a running knee…but Cassidy counters, getting hands in pockets to set up for a Beach Breaker! No pin comes however as Okada gets involved, followed by Briscoe…who gets laid out with a Rainmaker lariat! The ring is cleared out once more as Cassidy rushes at the champ for an Orange Punch…but Okada catches him with a Rainmaker lariat instead, getting the win to retain here tonight!

Moné goes on the attack early, focused on Shida’s knee as she sends the challenger to the corner. The champ continues the attack until Hikaru starts to fight back, locking in what can best be described as a stretch muffler until Moné manages to get to the ropes to force a break. With the champ still on the apron, Shida leaves the ring to do more damage leading into a rising knee, bringing Moné back into the ring for a cover that gets a nearfall.

Shida sets the champion up in the corner but is fought off, allowing Moné to hit a double knee to the face for a nearfall. Mercedes continues the attack, however, sending Shida back into the corner before attacking the head and neck. Shida gets back to her feet, but is quickly sent back to the corner by the champ who hits a forearm on the challenger, sending her to the mat for a nearfall.

She continues to lay into Shida, but the challenger fights back before sending Mercedes to the ropes. Moné backs her up into the corner to stop the momentum, but the two trade hammer throws until the champ gets sent into the turnbuckle…giving Shida an opening to hit a missile dropkick on Moné, who scrambles to the opposite corner. Shida mounts up for some punches before Mercdes fights back, turning the tide in her favor as she sets the challenger up on the ropes…but Shida fights back with a lariat that drops her to the mat!

Both women make it back to their feet trading strikes, until Shida charges at the champ…who evades to send her challenger to the corner for another double knee attack, but the cover only gets a two count! Moné starts mocking Shida as she kicks the challenger in the head, bringing her back to her feet as she looks for the Three Amigos. She manages to connect with all three vertical suplexes, pulling Shida to the corner before going up top.

Moné launches for a frog splash, but Shida gets her knees up! She follows up with three Falcon Arrows for the cover…but once again, Chuck Taylor is a liar because Moné kicks out!

Moné back to her feet, going after the knee of the challenger once again with a dragon screw…but Shida fights back with a German suplex and the running knee! Kitana connects as Shida makes the cover, but the champ kicks out. She evades a Kitana attempt, but Shida lands a crisp-looking one on Moné. She goes for one more, but Mercedes rolls away from taking the brunt of it before leaving the ring to grab a kendo stick. This leads to a tug of war with Shida, who has to fight herself from using it and risk disqualification.

This leads to Mercedes setting Shida up for a Money Maker, but the challenger fights out of it…only for Moné to connect with it on the second try to pick up the win and retain tonight!

Bryan Danielson’s reign as AEW World Champion after All In sees the American Dragon defend against the Scapegoat, as Jack Perry challenges for the top prize tonight at AEW All Out!


We cut to a video insinuating that police are on the lookout for Jack Perry, as he arrives to the NOW Arena in his Scapegoat bus before heading to the ring for our main event, with what appears to be a riot squad keeping watch at ringside. Out next is Bryan Danielson, who is once again costing AEW a pretty penny as “Final Countdown” hits to a big pop from the crowd here in Chicago.

The crowd is quite behind Danielson, chanting “YES” before the two men lock up. Perry sends Danielson down, mocking him to some boos from the crowd. Perry goes back after the champ, taking him down which draws a smirk from Danielson as he gets back to his feet. They lock up again, with Bryan getting a side headlock on the challenger before taking to the ropes…only for Perry to catch him with an arm drag, posing before leaving the ring.

Perry takes a breather, watching around the ring as the champ opts to wait for him to return. Perry finally steps back into the ring as the two lock up, with Danielson getting the upper hand before catching the leg of the challenger. This leads to the champ locking in a surfboard stretch, pulling back on Jack before going after the face and eventually dropping him to the mat. Perry back to his feet until Bryan drops him, grabbing him by the wrists…but Perry evades disaster, rolling out of the ring instead.

Danielson goes after him, but this turns out to be a mistake as Perry goes back on the attack, setting the champ onto the apron before dropping him to the floor. Perry has a smile on his face as the crowd show their disapproval. Jack sets the champ up against the barricade, getting a running start before charging at him! He brings Danielson back into the ring for a cover, but the champ kicks out.

He brings Bryan to the corner now, taking a bite at the champ before dropping him to the canvas once more for a nearfall. Jack brings Danielson to his feet for a chop into the corner, but the champ responds with some of his own…until Perry cuts him off, blocking the mouth and nose of the champ to break free.

He hits a chop on Danielson, mocking the fans as he sets Bryan up in the corner…but Danielson breaks free, eventually landing some hard elbows to the head of Perry. He climbs up, taking the challenger on a one-way trip to the mat with a massive back superplex!

Danielson slowly makes his way back to his feet, laying into Perry with kicks to the chest until Jack responds by taking the champ down hard for a nearfall…but Danielson manages to catch him with a LeBell Lock, focusing on the challenger’s hand until Perry gets a foot on the rope to force a break.

Perry tries to fight back but is soon fought off by Danielson who goes for another submission hold on the challenger…but Perry catches him by surprise with a suplex, bringing the champ to the apron to lay in further damage. This leads to an exchange of strikes between champion and challenger, until Bryan sends Perry to the floor with a butterfly suplex off the apron!

The action comes back to the ring as Danielson climbs the turnbuckle, targeting the arm of Perry before shouting at his challenger. He follows up with some hard kicks, but Perry ducks a roundhouse…only to catch one in the back of the head by the champ!

Bryan’s in the corner as he charges for a Buisaku Knee…but Perry evades, countering into a Snare Trap! He’s got the hold in tight as Bryan struggles to finally grab the bottom rope, forcing a break. The ref starts the count, leading to Perry mocking Bryan by telling the ref he has until five. He brings Danielson to his feet as some fans chant “Oh, cry me a river,” prompting Perry to mock the champ some more before hitting a lariat.

The champ is back to his feet however, sending Perry to the corner as the ref checks on him…only to be pulled into the path of a Busaiku Knee by Danielson! The ref is down as Bryan looks to kick Perry’s head in, but he sees the Bucks rushing down to intervene. The tag champs lay into Danielson, setting him up for a TK Driver before taunting the fans.

They set the World Champion up for a BTE Trigger but Claudio and Yuta rush down to make the save, chasing the Bucks through the crowd. Back in the ring, Perry sets the champ up for a running knee of his own before making the cover…but Danielson kicks out!

Perry is back to his feet, smiling as he grabs the arms of Danielson to begin kicking away at the champ’s head and neck. He drops Bryan down before going to the corner, mocking Danielson’s “yes” chants before running for a knee…only to be met with a Busaiku Knee by the champ, sending Perry down hard!

The ref begins the standing ten count as both men start to stir. They fight their way up trading strikes on their knees before making it to their feet…before Perry sends Danielson to the corner with a forearm. Perry slaps the champ in the face, and this riles Danielson up as the crowd mock Perry for making a critical error. Jack hits a few more slaps, but is met with several slaps by the champ before being taken to the corner…allowing Danielson to get the opening for a Busaiku Knee! Bryan makes the cover, but the challenger kicks out!

Bryan gets back to his feet, grabbing Perry’s arms before kicking away at his head and neck. The crowd is willing him on as Danielson continues the attack, finally letting go only to soak in the adulation from the fans as he heads to the corner. Crowd’s chanting “yes” as Perry gets to his knees, defiantly inviting the champ to make the killshot…and Danielson obliges with a Busaiku Knee, covering Perry to win and retain the World Championship!

After the match:
Bryan celebrates on the turnbuckle, leading the crowd to sing “Final Countdown”…but the celebration is cut short by the arrival of Killswitch, who lays out the champion! He stares down his former friend and tag partner Jack Perry, before we soon realize why Killswitch is out here…as Christian Cage makes his way out with the contract for a World Championship match! Fans are beside themselves as he heads down the ramp with the Patriarchy, but he is cut off by Mox staring him down at ringside.

Mox is soon joined by Claudio, Yuta, and PAC as Cage and his crew retreat up the ramp. PAC and the BCC enter the ring, celebrating alongside Danielson…until Claudio lays the champ out with an uppercut! Shafir rushes into the ring to join the attack, as Mox uses a plastic bag to choke Danielson out while PAC holds Yuta back from intervening. Mox finally does what he feels is sufficient damage as the group sans Yuta leave the ring, heading through the crowd as medics attend to Bryan.

A feud at least a year in the making culminates in tonight’s second main event, with AEW refusing to sanction what has become a Lights Out Steel Cage Match between Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland at AEW All Out!

Back at ringside, Justin Roberts notes the lights coming off to signify the end of the sanctioned portion of the night before we start this Lights Out Steel Cage Match.

Page turns things around as he hits a fall away slam on Strickland, but Swerve is quick to go back on the attack. This leads to both men trading blows until Strickland hits the Hangman with a Flatliner, followed by sending him into the wall of the cage. Nana yells at Page until Swerve looks to connect with Big Pressure, only for Hangman to fight back with a forearm. Page heads over to the bucket that was brought into the ring, pulling out a staple gun before approaching a rising Swerve…and shoots staples into the body of Strickland!

Swerve manages to grab the staple gun from Page, responding in kind before dropping Page to the canvas. We see the staples embedded in Swerve’s chest as he pulls one out, before grabbing a set of Strickland family photos that were in the bucket as well…and staples one of the pictures to the chest of the Hangman, followed by stapling a couple to the head and neck for good measure!

Hangman escapes to the corner as Strickland stares him down, Nana continuing to shout abuse at Page for his transgressions as Swerve grabs him, setting him up in the corner until Page fights back…only to be sent across the ring by Swerve! He props Page up on the top turnbuckle, putting him on his shoulders before slamming him into the cage wall.

Swerve goes back on the attack, driving his boot into Page before backing away. Strickland uses the ropes as he sets Hangman up, but this leads to the two duking it out before Page slams Swerve against the cage wall and drops him on the ropes!

Page continues the attack in the corner for a lariat before grabbing a piece of barbed wire, using it for a gnarly twist on another lariat to Strickland. Page brings Swerve to his feet before sending him into the cage wall, yelling “that’s your man?” at the crowd before sending Strickland into the wall again for good measure. Swerve is still down as Page grabs the barbed wire, lacing it through the cage fencing before grabbing Swerve…who stops himself from being sent into the wire, catching Page on the rebound instead.

Swerve follows up by grabbing the Hangman, sending him into the barbed wire to bust Page open…but Page is able to fight back, busting Strickland open before punching away at the forehead to open the wound further. He then brings Swerve to his feet, running him against the barbed wire for even more damage before dropping him to the mat.

Page goes right back at it, though, grabbing Swerve’s hair before coming back to his feet for a boot to Strickland. He taunts the crowd before heading to the apron, but the cage blocks him from setting up for a Buckshot Lariat. He pivots, going back on the attack to lay out Strickland before grabbing a chair that he uses on Swerve. The ref is trying to put some sense into Hangman, who tells the ref to pick up the chair before Strickland goes after him…eventually using the ref as a launching pad for a rolling senton onto Page!

Strickland is in control again as he grabs the chair to use on Page, before propping it in the corner. He grabs Page, sending the Hangman into the chair before going for the cover…but Page manages to kick out! Swerve is back up as he goes to the bucket once more…revealing a cinder block that he sets up in the middle of the ring!

He brings Page up for a tombstone piledrive, but Hangman fights out as he looks to hit the Dead Eye…only for Strickland to counter into a Vertebreaker that scrapes Hangman’s back against the cinder block! The block may not have been broken but the damage is visible on Page, as Strickland sets up the table that was brought in earlier. He goes up top looking for a Swerve Stomp, but Page fights him off.

This leads to the two men fighting it out on the top turnbuckle, but Strickland fights Page off enough to send him through the table with a Swerve Stomp! Cover by Strickland…but the Hangman isn’t ready to give up, as he kicks out once more!

Strickland goes to the corner, looking for a House Call…but Page counters into a Dead Eye! Hangman with the cover, but Swerve manages to kick out to stay in the match. Page heads to the corner, yelling “Whose house?” as he grabs what is revealed to be a piece of burnt wood from Strickland’s home! Page looks to stab Swerve with it, but Strickland manages to pull it away before attacking Hangman with it instead.

Strickland stands up, almost in tears as he looks at the remnant of his home…and this gives Page an opening as he sets Strickland up for a powerbomb onto the cinder block! Once again, no give from the block as Page goes for the cover…only for Swerve to once again get a shoulder up, much to Hangman’s surprise and ire!

We get justified “this is awesome” chants from the crowd (sorry, couldn’t help it) as both men slowly get to their feet in spite of everything they’ve been through…until Swerve sends Page into the cage wall with a powerbomb of his own, followed by a House Call that sends Hangman into the wall once again. Page makes it to the middle of the ring but is caught with another House Call as Swerve goes for the cover…but Page kicks out yet again!

Hangman is still down as Swerve climbs the turnbuckle, only to go up toward the top of the cage until Page intercepts him for a powerbomb bringing Swerve down to the mat hard. Page back to his feet, but so too is Strickland…who takes a Dead Eye from Page, who still gets only a nearfall for his efforts. Page back to his feet as he grabs the chair, yelling at a rising Strickland to beg for mercy as he lands a couple shots to the head.

Swerve slowly rises again, simply laughing at Hangman holding up two fingers as he gets to his feet…only to drop right back to the canvas at Page’s feet. Hangman props up Strickland, promising he will embarrass Swerve as he pulls out Strickland’s grill from his mouth…before pulling out a hypodermic needle from the bucket. No clue what’s in that, but Page ends up using it on the lip of Strickland before grabbing the chair once more…laying Swerve out with one final shot to the head! Swerve is completely knocked out, and the ref calls for the bell!

Winner via knockout: Hangman Adam Page

After the match:
The cage is raised as medics and Prince Nana check on Strickland, while Page retreats up the ramp looking possibly satisfied with getting his revenge tonight…or maybe not, brother, as he starts coming back down the ramp. He eventually decides better of it, celebrating on the ramp.
