LA Knight goes head-to-head with Andrade for the United States Championship

The new era of SmackDown on USA continues as LA Knight defends his United States Title against Andrade. Andrade became the No. 1 Contender after defeating his rival Carmelo Hayes last week in the fifth match of their epic series. The Megastar has never faced Andrade one-on-one, but their paths crossed in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this year. Can Andrade dethrone Knight to win his second U.S. Title or will Knight continue his reign?

Your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

We begin with a look back at last week's Smackdown when Cody Rhodes successfully defended the Undisputed Title, but was unable to end his involvement with the Bloodline.

We will see footage of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns when they met last night in Atlanta.

The Bloodline ignores the procedure for going through the metal detector and Jacob Fatu beats them up.


United States Championship
LA Knight vs Andrade

Andrade offers his hand at the start of the match and Knight shakes it. They lock up and Knight with a wrist lock but Andrade with a single leg take down. Knight with an inside cradle for a near fall. Knight avoids the Message while Andrade avoids a BFT.

We go to commercial.

We are back and they exchange chops with Andrade gaining the advantage until Knight blocks a chop and he punches Andrade. Andrade with a kick and chop. Knight with an Irish whip and Andrade does the Flair Flip. Andrade with a punch and he goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Andrade with a reverse chin lock. Andrade with a shoulder tackle but Knight with a back elbow and Andrade rolls to the floor. Andrade pulls Knight to the floor and Andrade kicks Knight and tries to send him into the announce table but Knight blocks it and he connects with an elbow and he bounces Andrade's head on the announce table many times. Knight with a slingshot shoulder tackle and he gets a near fall. Knight with shoulders in the corner.

Knight with an Irish whip but Andrade sends Knight to the apron. Andrade follows Knight to the apron and Knight with a punch and he gets Andrade on his shoulders but Andrade escapes and he sends Knight into the ring post. Andrade goes up top and he hits a moonsault onto Knight on the floor. Andrade runs Knight into the ringside barrier. Andrade kicks Knight and the referee warns him. Knight with an inside cradle for a near fall. Andrade with chops and a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Andrade with a reverse chin lock. Knight with a punch but Andrade with a knee to the midsection for a near fall. Andrade pie faces Knight around the ring. Andrade with punches and kicks.

Knight with punches and a discus clothesline. Knight goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Andrade lands on his feet and he chops Knight. Andrade with a flying forearm and both men are down. Andrade with kicks in the corner and he sets for the double knee strike and he misses when Knight moves. Knight with a DDT and he gets a near fall. Knight with kicks in the corner and he hits a running hip into the corner. Knight sends Andrade sternum first into the turnbuckles and Knight with a neck breaker for a near fall. Knight puts Andrade on the turnbuckles and Knight follows him to the turnbuckles. Andrade with elbows to knock Knight to the mat. Andrade sets for the AndradeSault and hits it for a near fall.

Andrade with a running double knee strike into the corner for a near fall. Andrade avoids a press slam and he gives Knight a DDT. Knight with a power slam. Knight goes to the turnbuckles for a double jump elbow drop and then he goes for BFT but Andrade escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Andrade with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. They fight to the turnbuckles and Andrade with a head butt to send Knight to the mat. Knight leaps to the turnbuckles and Andrade pushes Knight away. Andrade misses a missile drop kick and Knight with BFT for the three count.

Winner: LA Knight (retains championship)

After the match:
Knight and Andrade exchange some pleasantries and they shake hands and Andrade raises Knight's hand.


We take a look at how we got our women's tag match tonight.

Backstage:
Tiffany is talking to Nia about getting her nails done and how she talked about what is going to happen tonight. Tiffany says it will be great to never have to see Bayley or Naomi tonight. Nia reminds Tiffany that since Bayley and Naomi are going after her title, if they lose, Tiffany might want to leave Smackdown.

We go to commercial.

Backstage:
We are back and Andrade walks in the back and he bumps into Carmelo Hayes and he wants to know what that was and that he hasn't seen a choke like that since the Kings against the Lakers. He tells Andrade that he is washed. Andrade attacks Hayes and officials show up and try to get things under control.


We take a look at what happened last night when Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns were in the same football stadium at the same time. We see Roman's entourage driving into the stadium. Cody shows up by himself.

They stand on the 50 yard line and stare at each other.

Roman says that this ground is his. Years ago, he shed blood, sweat, and tears on this field many times. This is his field. If this is his field, that means it is his stadium. If this is his stadium, it is his city. He asks what has Cody done for his city.

Cody says seven cars is subtle. Cody says that Techwood Studios is on the other side of the stadium. The Omni used to be in this city. His family has bled in this city and for this city. You played football here, but you went to the beach. This might be your stadium, but this is his home.

Roman likes that. Roman wants to get down to the facts. You signed your way into a lose lose situation. You have everything to lose and you are dealing with a situation with people who have nothing to lose. They took Jimmy from him. They took his Wise Man. They took his Bloodline. They took his Ula Fala. He has nothing to lose. There is no weight on his neck. It is on yours. Roman says he is a man with no country.

Cody asks Roman if he is supposed to be surprised. Cody says that he would be standing here like this, a chief without a tribe. They took everything from you. You have nothing to lose? Cody tells Roman to look around WWE. They have a tribal chief and it isn't you. We have a WWE champion and it isn't you. If you can't beat your own bloodline, who is standing here right now? It is not the biggest box office attraction in the history of WWE. It is not the guaranteed Wrestlemania main eventer. It is the guy they used to call Roman Reigns.

Roman asks Cody what does he want.

Cody says he wants Roman's word. He wants Roman's word that he will have his back so Cody can have Roman's.

Roman thinks about it and he gives Cody his word. Roman says he will have Cody's back. Roman says when it is all done, he's taking back what's his.

Cody cuts off Roman as he tries to leave and Cody says it isn't Roman's to take.

Roman tells Cody he is in his way. He is in his way in life.

Roman walks to his many vehicles.


Backstage:
Kevin Owens is in BACK watching MONITOR. Byron asks Kevin about what we just saw. Kevin says nothing and walks away.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Kevin is sitting in the back.


Apollo Crews vs Giovanni Vinci

They lock up and Vinci with punches and kicks. The referee warns Vinci. Vinci with European uppercuts and chops. Crews with a chop and forearms. Vinci with an Irish whip and Vinci blocks a boot in the corner and hits a short arm clothesline. Vinci punches Crews. Vinci slams Crews into the ropes a few times to work on the leg. Vinci with a third slam into the ropes. Vinci goes for a power bomb but Crews counters with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Apollo Crews

After the match:
Vinci kicks Crews in the head and sends him into the ringside barrier. They return to the ring and Vinci with a brainbuster. Vinci slaps Crews in the head.


Backstage:
Byron walks up to Kevin again in the back and he asks for a comment. Kevin says if he is going to talk about it, he will do it out there.

We go to commercial.

Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring.

Kevin says Byron asked him twice in ten minutes and he says a lot of people want to know what he thinks about this situation with Roman and Cody. What does Cody agreeing to team with Roman mean after all of the years he dealt with Roman.

Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu make their way to the ring.

Tama snarls like a gremlin and he tells everyone to let the right hand man speak. Last week, Roman and Cody Rhodes embarrassed Solo. He says that was a big mistake. They are going to get what is coming to them at Bad Blood. Tonight, you are going to get what you got coming, by orders of Solo Sikoa.

Kevin says before we hear more from Tama and that no one cares what he is going to say so he tells them to come into the ring so he can punch them in their faces.

Kevin punches Tama and Tonga and then Jacob gets into the ring. The three of them go after Kevin until Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano take care of them with a super kick and Shatter Machine.

Nick Aldis comes out with security and they stand in the ring with their hands out

Nick says he is sick and tired of them fighting when there is no bell ringing. There are three of you and three of them so we are going to have an IMPROMPTU six man tag match later tonight.


Backstage:
Naomi and Bayley are in LOCKER ROOM and Bayley says neither of them are leaving so they need to win to get the title match. Naomi says she has been waiting since she returned. Bayley says both of them want to get the title off Nia. Bayley says let the best woman win. Naomi says she will give Bayley the first title match. Bayley asks if that is where we are going.


Tornado Tag Match where Bayley or Naomi get a title match if they get the pin but if they lose, they must leave Smackdown FOREVER
Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton vs Bayley and Naomi

Naomi goes after Nia while Bayley goes after Tiffany but Tiffany and Nia take control. Naomi and Bayley dosey do and connect with punches and shoulders. Bayley sends Naomi into Tiffany and Naomi sends Bayley into Nia. Bayley and Naomi with a double drop kick. They hit a double bulldog of Nia into the corner. Bayley with a shoulder to Tiffany and a cutter in the ropes while Naomi drives Nia into the apron. Bayley with a sliding clothesline and they both cover Nia. Naomi with a knee to Nia and Nia sends Naomi into the air. Tiffany stops Bayley and Tiffany with a blockbuster while Nia hits a Samoan drop and Nia gets a near fall.

Tiffany with a suplex to Naomi and she gets a near fall. Nia holds Bayley for Tiffany and Tiffany with a drop kick. Nia with a running hip into the corner on Naomi. Naomi kicks Nia and she comes off the turnbuckles and gets a near fall. Tiffany sends Bayley into the apron and she gets a near fall when they return to the ring. Naomi is sent shoulder first into the ring post. Nia with a head butt to Bayley. Nia catapults Bayley and Tiffany with a drop kick for a near fall. NIa with an Irish whip to Bayley and Tiffany with a handspring back elbow into the corner. Naomi breaks up the cover and Tiffany kicks Naomi. NIa sends Bayley to the floor and follows after her. Tiffany sends Naomi into the ringside barrier while Nia works over Bayley. Tiffany sends Bayley into the apron.

Byley with a punch to Tiffany. Bayley punches Tiffany while Nia head butts Naomi and sends her over the ringside barrier. Nia tries to send Bayley into the timekeeper's area but Bayley escapes and Naomi with a round kick. Tiffany goes up the aisle and Bayley follows and sends Tiffany into the ringside barrier. Bayley returns to the ring and she hits a suicide dive onto Nia and Naomi with a cross body. Naomi with a round kick and Bayley with a belly-to-back suplex. Naomi breaks up Bayley's cover. Naomi pushes Bayley out of the way and Nia with a clothesline. Naomi with a kick to Nia. Bayley and Naomi with a double back body drop to Nia. Bayley runs into a back elbow from Nia and Nia with a seated splash to Naomi. Nia sets for aNIAlator but Bayley stops Nia and Naomi gets back to her feet. They set for a double side Russian leg sweep but Tiffany pulls Bayley off the turnbuckles.

Bayley with a boot to Tiffany and Bayley with an elbow drop to the back and Nia iwth a leg drop to Naomi. Nia and Bayley get near falls. Bayley kicks Nia to the floor. Naomi and Bayley send Tiffany to the turnbuckles and Nia head butts Bayley to the mat. Nia with a forearm to Naomi and Nia sets for a power bomb but Naomi counters with an X Factor. Tiffany tries to break up the cover with a swanton but Naomi moves and she hits Nia. Tiffany with forearms to Naomi and Bayley. Naomi and Bayley hit 1D to Tiffany but Nia sends Naomi into the ropes. Nia with a Samoan drop but Naomi with a crucifix and both Naomi and Bayley pin Nia.

Winners: Naomi and Bayley

Backstage:
We are back and Chelsea Green is doing her civil duty by taking out the trash but she is hit with a trash bag. She does not appreciate the aroma. Chelsea asks if it is fair that she has to face Michin on her home turf? We see her throwing a dummy into a dumpster. She asks if she hears Michin in the dumpster and she is scared by something. She says Michin will pay for this. Michael mentions that Chelsea Green and Michin will have a dumpster match in two weeks in Nashville.

Next week, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes meet in the next match in their who knows how many match series.

Backstage:
Naomi and Bayley are in Nick's OFFICE and they are arguing about something. Nick says they both pinned Nia but there can only be one to face Nia for the title. Nick says they will meet next week and the winner faces Nia Jax.


Kevin Owens, Tommaso Ciampa, and Johnny Gargano vs Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu

In the back, Fatu with a running hip against a storage case to Ciampa and Gargano is taken care of by Tama.

Kevin goes to the entrance and he goes after all three men. Kevin tries to fight them off but the numbers are too much for him. Kevin is sent into the ring.

The Street Profits make their way to the ring and they go after Tama and Tonga.

Kevin goes up top while the other five fight and he connects with a swanton.

It appears that we have a card subject to change moment.

Match Number Four (Rebooted): Kevin Owens, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford versus Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu

Kevin punches Loa and he kicks him in the corner. Kevin with punches and a front face lock. Ford tags in and he kicks Loa. Dawkins tags in and he kicks Loa and works on the arm. Dawkins with a punch and snap mare. Ford tags in and hits a slingshot senton. Ford with a kick to the chest and he gets a near fall. Dawkins tags in and Dawkins with a shoulder tackle and he gets a near fall. Kevin tags in and he connects with a short arm clothesline and he gets a near fall. Kevin sends Loa into the turnbuckles and Ford tags in and he kicks Loa many times. Ford with an Irish whip and Loa with a clothesline out of the corner. He sends Ford into the turnbuckles and Fatu tags in and he connects with an uppercut.

Fatu with a head butt. Fatu kicks Ford and he sends Ford into the turnbuckles with a hard Irish whip. Tama tags in and Fatu with a suplex and Tama with a slingshot senton. Tama with a double sledge to the back. Tama with a sliding clothesline and he gets a near fall. Fatu tags in and they head butt Ford. Ford with punches but Fatu with a back elbow. Fatu goes for a running hip into the corner but Ford moves. Dawkins tags in and he clotheslines Fatu a few times. Dawkins with a corkscrew back elbow. Dawkins takes care of Tama and Loa but he goes for the spinning splash into the corner but Fatu stops him with a super kick.

Fatu kicks Dawkins and goes to the turnbuckles and hits the triple jump moonsault.

We are back and Tama with a neck breaker to Dawkins for a near fall. Tama with a rear chin lock and forearms to the chest. Tama with a reverse chin lock. Dawkins with elbows and he avoids a splash into the corner. Dawkins with an exploder and Fatu tags in and hits a back senton. Fatu with a hard Irish whip. Fatu with a head butt and he follows with more in the corner. Fatu runs into a jumping kick. Fatu misses a splash and he hits the ring post. Tama tags in and Ford makes the tag. Ford with a kick and a cross body. Ford punches Loa off the apron and Ford with a clothesline and a second one. Ford with a thrust kick and more kicks. Ford is flipped over and he hits a jumping knee followed by a moonsault for a near fall. Tama goes for a belly-to-back suplex and Ford lands on his feet and he htis an enzuigiri.

Kevin tags in and he clotheslines Loa and Fatu on the floor. Kevin with a back senton onto Fatu. Kevin with a crotch chop to Loa and a splash off the apron. Kevin sets for a cannonball on Tama and he hits it. Kevin goes up top and hits a swanton for a near fall. Dawkins clotheslines Fatu over the top rope to the floor. Kevin goes up top again but Tama stops Kevin with a forearm. Tama goes to the turnbuckles and he sets for a superplex and he head butts Kevin. As Corey will tell you, you don't superplex Kevin. Owens with a super fisherman's buster. Kevin gets a near fall when Loa pulls Kevin off Tama. Kevin sets for a stunner but Tama avoids it. Kevin with a stunner and Loa pulls Kevin to the floor.

The referee calls for the bell.

No Contest

After the match:
Dawkins takes care of Loa. Fatu tags care of Dawkins but Ford with a flip dive. Fatu with a forearm to Ford and Fatu sends Dawkins into the time keeper's area.

Fatu with head butts to Ford and then Fatu sends Owens into the ring steps. They set for the Cerberus Bomb on Kevin but Kevin fights them off. Tama sends Kevin into the announce table. Ford is in the ring and Loa slams Ford. Fatu goes up top and hits a frog splash.

Kevin puts Tama on the announce table but Loa and Fatu stop Kevin. They set for the Cerberus Bomb but . . .

Gargano and Ciampa make their way to ringside and they fight off Loa and Tama. Fatu with a thrust kick to Ciampa and then to Gargano.

Kevin sends Loa into the ring steps and Fatu sends Kevin into the apron. They roll Kevin into the ring. Fatu goes up top again . . .

Cody Rhodes' music plays and he hits Tama with a chair in the midsection and throws one at Loa.

Cody and Fatu get into the ring and Fatu super kicks the chair out of Cody's hand. Cody with a Cody Cutter.

Kevin grabs the chair behind Cody while Cody yells at Tama, Loa, and Fatu.

Kevin tosses the chair aside when Cody offers his hand. Kevin shakes his hand and they hug.
