Last week, we found out who would be the first NXT Tag Team Champions. At the end of the night, Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey were able to claim the titles from Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are William ‘This is the darkest timeline’ Regal and Tom ‘Tom’ Phillips.
Match Number One: Yoshi Tatsu versus Bray Wyatt (with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper)
Wyatt stretches a little before locking up. They lock up and Wyatt pushes Yoshi into the corner. Yoshi with chops but Wyatt with a uranage and he circles Yoshi on the mat. Wyatt picks up Yoshi and he sends Yoshi into the corner. Wyatt with a splash into the corner and then he pulls Yoshii not the center of the ring. Wyatt kisses Yoshi on the top of the head and he hits a swinging reverse STO for the three count.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
After the match, Wyatt throws Yoshi out of the ring and he gets the mic.
Wyatt tells Rowan and Harper to get in the ring, now. He wants them to watch the video of their loss last week. Bray says that they let him down and he wants to know how they could have done that after all they did for him. Erick says that Luke is his brother and you lean on him for protection. He tells Erick that his brother let him down. He wants Erick to hit Luke and Erick hits Luke in the face.
Bray tells Luke that he is his general and he wants to know if Luke’s back hurts for carrying him all these years. He tells Luke to hit Erick. Luke hits Erick and then they exchange punches.
Bray tells them to stop and he wants to know how they feel about the loss. Bray says that he is proud of his boys.
We go to the back and Renee Young is with Sasha Banks. Renee asks Sasha about her secret admirer. Sasha is excited that she will meet her secret admirer tonight. She is handed an envelope and here comes the surprise.
Audrey Marie hits Sasha from behind and she says that she has been out with an injury and this is what they replace her with. Audrey says that she is her secret admirer.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: El Local versus Xavier Woods
They lock up and El Local with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Woods with a few leap frogs and then he connects with two arm drags. El Local blocks a hip toss and then Woods misses a round kick. Woods with a leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Woods is sent to the apron. He goes for a shoulder but Local moves and he hits a double stomp to the back.
El Local with a slam and snap leg drop for a near fall. Local with kicks to Woods followed by a snap mare and Yakuza kick for a near fall. Local with a rear chin lock. Woods gets to his feet and he punches Local. Local slides into the corner and he kicks Woods in the head and gets a near fall.
Local with a kick to the back and he returns to the rear chin lock. Woods gets to his feet but Local pulls Woods to the mat by the hair. Local with a kick to the back and he gets a near fall. Local with a reverse chin lock. Woods with punches but Local with a knee. Woods with a head scissors take down and a running forearm. Woods with a drop kick for a near fall.
Local with a near fall on a rollup and he follows with a jawbreaker and an Irish whip. He runs into boots from Woods. Local puts Woods on the turnbuckles and Woods with a DDT for the three count.
Winner: Xavier Woods
We go to the back and Renee Young is with Dr. Sampson for an update on Paige’s shoulder injury. The doctor says that Paige might have biceps tendonitis or an AC separation. They are evaluating her condition to see when she can come back. Renee asks when she might return and the doctor says that he does not know when she will be ready to come back.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Audrey Marie versus Sasha Banks
Banks with a rollup for a near fall and then she slams Audrey’s head into the mat. Audrey with a knee to the midsection and she slaps Sasha and gets a near fall. Audrey with a top wrist lock into an arm bar. Audrey with a forearm to the back and then she stretches Sasha and has her knee in the middle of her back.
Sasha with a head scissors and a few clotheslines followed by a drop kick. Sasha tries for a wheelbarrow move but Audrey counters with a sit out front driver for the three count.
Winner:Audrey Marie
Renee Young is in the back with Summer Rae and Renee tells Summer about Paige’s medical condition and how she does not have any range of motion in her shoulder. Summer says that Paige has no range of emotion and why should she feel bad for Paige. Paige asked for a match and she got what she deserved. Summer says that she broke a nail while beating her up. Now that her competition is out of the way, she can worry about being the best WWE Diva of all time. She tells Renee to call her the First Lady of NXT.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we see footage from the press conference when we found out that Wrestlemania XXX will be held in New Orleans.
Tyson Kidd makes his way to the ring on crutches after his knee surgery.
Tony Dawson is in the ring with Tyson and he asks Tyson for an update on his knee. Tyson says that he tore almost every ligament in his knee at a Live Event. He wrestled the next night without knowing how bad it would be. Tyson says that he will be back.
Tony also mentions CM Punk’s comments about Tyson and he asks him what it means to hear that from Punk. Tyson says that love him or hate him, you have to respect him. For Punk to go on national television and call him a workhorse, he is flattered. Tyson says that it is not a catchphrase, it is a mentality of how he deals with everything. It was instilled in him since he started training in the Dungeon to be the best that he can be.
Leo Kruger makes his way to the ring and he says that he will end Tyson’s career. He calls Tyson a wounded animal and says that he is weak and vulnerable. He tells Mr. Kidd that he should have stayed away.
Leo kicks Tyson’s crutches and he falls into the corner. Tyson’s tag team partner, Justin Gabriel makes his way to the ring to help Tyson and Leo leaves the ring.
Conor O’Brian and Big E Langston walk in the back as we go to commercial.
Match Number Four: Big E Langston versus Conor O’Brian in a Non Title Match
Langston yells out five before locking up and he pounds his chest before locking up. They go to a stalemate. The two manbeasts charge from the corner and lock up. They go around the ring to another stalemate. Conor tries for a shoulder tackle but Langston stays on his feet. Conor with a back elbow and it staggers Langston a bit. Conor with punches and kicks. Now it is Langston’s turn for five strikes and he sends Conor over the top rope to the floor and we go to commercial.
We are back and Langston with an Irish whip but he misses a charge into the corner and he hits the ring post with his shoulder. Conor with a rear chin lock in the corner and then he punches and kicks Langston. Conor with more punches and the referee warns him. Conor with an elbow to the back of the neck. Conor with forearms and he gets a near fall.
Conor with a chin lock and he uses Langston’s own arm to cut off his breathing. Conor with a full nelson slam for a near fall. Conor returns to the chin lock and has the arm covering Langston’s face. Langston with clotheslines and he connects with a series of knees to the midsection and he hits five of them. Langston runs into a punch from Conor but Langston punches back.
They go back and forth and Conor takes control when the referee pulls Langston out of the corner. Langston is able to take over when the referee pulls Conor out of the corner. The referee gets in the middle and he gets knocked down and the referee cals for the bell.
No Contest
After the match, Langston sends Conor to the floor with a clothesline.
While Langston celebrates in the ring with the title belt, Corey Graves attacks Langston from behind and takes the NXT Title belt and leaves as we go to credits.
