Could CM Punk's long-awaited return to the ring be mere weeks away after suffering a torn triceps in January? Possibly so according to Chalk Line.

Punk's injury, suffered during the Men's Royal Rumble match would cost the Best in the World a match at WrestleMania, which would've been his first in eleven years. Despite his injury, Punk has continued his feud with Drew McIntyre, who has taken credit for Punk's injury. CM Punk got his revenge at WrestleMania, attacking McIntyre and effectively costing him the World Heavyweight Championship.

While Punk has been working hard in the gym, an exact date for his wrestling return hasn't been confirmed publicly by WWE. This week, Chalk Line shared new shorts featuring Punk's logo and a design inspired by Punk's pink and white trunks (which themselves are inspired by 'Macho Man' Randy Savage.)

In the caption, Chalk Line shared that the 'Countdown to SummerSlam' will be coming soon. Naturally, many have taken this as a sign that Punk will be back in the ring by the time of the Biggest Party of the Summer.

WWE SummerSlam 2024 will take place on August 3, from the Cleveland Browns Stadium and will mark the second SummerSlam in Cleveland after the 1996 event. At this time, only a handful of matches are known. WWE Queen of the Ring Nia Jax will challenge for the WWE Women's Championship while King of the Ring GUNTHER will compete for the World Heavyweight Championship. At this time, the title is held by Damian Priest but he will defend against McIntyre at WWE Clash At the Castle: Scotland on June 14.
