Monday’s edition of WWE RAW from Knoxville, Tennessee at the Thompson-Boling Arena averaged 2.272 million viewers, which is up from 2.130 million the previous week.

This was the post-show for the Clash of Champions pay-per-view event. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown, courtesy of ShowbuzzDaily:

  • Hour 1: 2.417 million – Last Week: 2.362
  • Hour 2: 2.319 million – Last Week: 2.183
  • Hour 3: 2.079 million – Last Week: 1.845

The episode was expected to increase slightly in viewership due to the competition that it faced.

The biggest competition that WWE RAW faced came in the way of an NFL regular-season game between the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns that aired on ESPN did 11.797 million viewers.

For comparison, the same episode last year drew 2.839 million viewers for hour one, 2.746 in the second hour, and 2.432 in the third hour.

Some of the matches that took place include The OC (AJ Styles, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows) vs. Cedric Alexander & The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar), Baron Corbin vs. Chad Gable in the King of the Ring Finals, Ricochet vs. Mike Kanellis, and the return of Rusev. Rey Mysterio vs. Cesaro, The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection (Bayley & Sasha Banks) vs. Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross, and Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. Robert Roode in a non-title match.

The show also featured an appearance by Kane, who not only won the WWE 24/7 Title but also was attacked by Bray Wyatt to close the show.

WWE will attempt to maintain its viewership for RAW next week.
