Cody Rhodes teams with Randy Orton against Imperium en route to Crown Jewel

On the eve of WWE Crown Jewel, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will join forces with Randy Orton against World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser. The American Nightmare and The Ring General will make history when they battle for the right to become the first-ever WWE Crown Jewel Champion. Additionally, Orton has his own WWE Crown Jewel challenge awaiting against Kevin Owens. Although KO won't be on SmackDown this week, The Viper must be in top form if he will have any chance against the dangerous Superstar just one day later.

– We are live! Michael Cole and Corey Graves greet audiences at home as Nia Jax makes her way out to the ring.

Jax says there's only one thing on her mind right now: the Women's Crown Jewel Championship. She says that she wants it, and says that she usually gets everything she wants. She says she became Queen Of The Ring and the WWE Women's Champion like she wanted, and she deals with anything that gets in her way. She says that same fate awaits Morgan tomorrow night.

Morgan's music hits and she makes her way down alongside Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio. She tells Jax that she isn't special and says she retired Becky Lynch at SummerSlam to become the greatest women's champion of all time thanks to the help of Dominik. She says she's held the Women's World Championship longer than Jax and reminds Jax that she defeated her the last time they were in the ring together.

Tiffany Stratton's music hits and she makes her way out. She says Morgan and Jax can argue all they want because she will be bringing her Women's Money In The Bank briefcase to Crown Jewel to cash it in and become a champion.

Jax brags to Morgan about how Stratton will cash in on her, but Stratton reminds Jax that she can still cash in on her. She says she hasn't decided who to cash in on yet, then asks Morgan if she gets to take Dominik should she cash in to dethrone her as Women's World Champion. Morgan says Stratton already has "enough dirty in [her] life", but Stratton clocks her.

Back from the break, the bell has rung and Morgan dumps Stratton out of the ring. She sends her crashing into the barricade and sends her crashing into the giant PRIME Hydration drink at ringside. The two get back in the ring, and Stratton sends Morgan crashing into the mat. She looks to follow it up with a handspring back elbow, but Morgan delivers a missile dropkick and looks to land a step-up knee.

Stratton intercepts Morgan with a powerbomb and goes for a pin, but Morgan kicks out. Stratton lands a dropkick on Morgan, but Jax hops up on the apron to distract the referee and Stratton looks to hit her with the Women's Money In The Bank briefcase. Morgan avoids being hit and rolls up Stratton for the win.

Winner: Liv Morgan

A– fter the match, Morgan dropkicks Jax and hits Stratton with the Women's Money In The Bank briefcase. She looks to hit Jax, but Jax grabs it from her and hits both Rodriguez and Dominik with it. She then clocks Morgan and delivers the An-Nia-Lator to her.

– We then head over to a video from Kevin Owens, in which he tells Orton that he still looks up to him and never wanted to hurt him, but Orton brought everything that happened to him upon himself.

– Back at ringside, The Street Profits and B-Fab make their way down to the ring. Pretty Deadly follows.

The Street Profits (w/ B-Fab) vs. Pretty Deadly

The bell rings and Pretty Deadly waste no time going after The Street Profits. Kit Wilson dumps Montez Ford into the corner and lands a back elbow. Elton Prince tags in and double teams on Ford with Wilson, then fires off stomps on him in the corner and tags Wilson back in. Wilson lands a DDT on Ford, then goes for a pin but Ford kicks out.

Wilson rains down right hands on Ford, then tags Prince back in. Wilson charges at Ford in the corner, but Ford moves out of the way and tags in Angelo Dawkins. Dawkins levels Prince with a clothesline, then lands a flapjack on Wilson and delivers splashes to Prince and Wilson in opposite corners. Prince sends Dawkins crashing into the top rope face first, but Prince looks to take a cheap shot at Dawkins from the apron. B-Fab pulls him off and bodyslams him, opening the door for The Profits to deliver the Japanese Ocean Cyclone suplex-Blockbuster to Wilson for the win.

Winners: The Street Profits

– We then head backstage to Jax and Stratton, where Stratton explains to Jax that part of a plan she has is to make Morgan think that she may cash in her Women's Money In The Bank briefcase on her rather than Morgan. The two then run into Bayley and Naomi, where Naomi puts Jax on notice for her WWE Women's Championship.

– Bayley and Naomi then make their way out to the ring. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae follow.

The bell rings and Hartwell and LeRae attack Bayley and Naomi from behind. Hartwell then delivers a right hand to Bayley's spine.

Back from the break, Hartwell wears Bayley down with a submission and tags in LeRae. LeRae rains down right hands on Bayley's spine and wears her down with an arm submission, then tags Hartwell back in. Bayley clocks Hartwell and sends LeRae crashing into the ring post spine first, then delivers a pair of knees to her in the corner.

Naomi tags in and sends LeRae crashing into the middle turnbuckle, then sends her face bouncing off the ring apron and goes for a pin. Hartwell breaks the fall and dumps Bayley out of the ring. LeRae then rolls up Naomi, but Naomi kicks out. LeRae rocks Naomi with an enzuigiri, then uses her as a launch pad to level Hartwell with a crossbody. Bayley levels Hartwell with a Bayley-to-Belly, but LeRae lands a step-up senton and a springboard moonsault on her. Naomi then levels LeRae with the Rear View for the win.

Winners: Bayley and Naomi

– Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso then make their way down to the ring.

Jimmy tells Reigns he made up with Jey Uso and he squashed his beef with Jey. He says he needs Reigns to do the same with Jey, then says if he, Reigns, and Jey plan to win at Crown Jewel tomorrow night against The Bloodline, then they need to be on the same page.

Jey's music hits, and he makes his way out. He says that Solo Sikoa cost him the Intercontinental Championship, then says if he's being honest. He says Reigns did a lot of damage to him, whether that be physical or mental. He says he still showed up because that's what family does. He says Reigns won't be telling him what to do or how to do it, then says that him, Jimmy, and Reigns will all be equals. He says Reigns can walk away or act like the "Tribal Chief" so they can win tomorrow at Crown Jewel. Reigns responds to Jey by telling him yeet.

Damage CTRL then makes her way down to the ring. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, Piper Niven and Chelsea Green, and Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill follow.

Fatal Four-Way Match: IYO SKY vs. Lash Legend vs. Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven

The bell rings and Legend clocks Belair with a forearm. Belair levels Niven with a forearm, and SKY trips Legend on the apron. Belair looks to run over Niven with a shoulder tackle, but Niven runs over Belair with one of her own. Legend sends SKY crashing into the ring apron face first, then stares down Niven and connects with a knee. Legend and Niven then level one another, and Belair delivers a double springboard moonsault to Legend and Niven.

SKY dumps Legend out of the ring and delivers a kick to her off the ring apron. She looks to fly, but Niven clocks her. Belair dumps Niven out of the ring over the top rope, then looks to level Legend and Niven with a crossbody. Niven and Legend catch her and send her crashing into the barricade.

Back from the break, Legend and Niven send SKY crashing into Belair's midsection. Niven connects with a senton on SKY, then exchanges forearms with Legend. Belair levels Legend and Niven with a crossbody off the top rope, then rains down right hands on Legend in the corner. She stacks Niven and Legend up in the corner, then rains down more right hands on them. Legend and Niven get Belair on their shoulders, but SKY flies off the top rope to level the three women. Niven gets SKY on her shoulders, but Belair levels the both of them.

Legend sends Belair crashing into the mat as Green, Jackson, Sane, and Cargill begin brawling on the outside. Legend takes down Cargill with a forearm, but Niven delivers a chokeslam and a senton to her in the ring. Niven then lands a powerslam and a senton on SKY, then sends Belair crashing into the mat. Legend and Cargill then stare each other down in the ring, but Sane and Jackson pull her out of the ring. Cargill takes them both down, and Belair looks to take advantage. She delivers a KOD to Legend, but SKY surprises her with the Over The Moonsault and pins Legend for the win.

Winner: IYO SKY

– GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser then make their way down to the ring. Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton follow.

Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton vs. GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser

Rhodes and GUNTHER begin the action. The bell rings and GUNTHER hops out of the ring. Kaiser gets inside and rains down right hands on Rhodes, but Rhodes gets him up in a delayed vertical suplex position and sends him crashing into the mat. He clotheslines Kaiser out of the ring, then delivers a tope suicida to level him and dumps him back in the ring. He then stares down GUNTHER.

Back from the break, GUNTHER lands a cheap kick on Rhodes from the apron and follows it up with a boot as Kaiser distracts the referee. Kaiser rains down right hands on Rhodes, then tags in GUNTHER. GUNTHER and Kaiser deliver a double kick to Rhodes, but GUNTHER turns Rhodes inside out with a clothesline and the two exchange right hands. Rhodes levels Kaiser, then tags in Orton. Orton levels Kaiser with a pair of clotheslines and a scoop powerslam, then follows it up with a hanging DDT.

Rhodes tags in and fires off strikes on Kaiser, then follows it up with the Bionic Elbow and a Cody Cutter out of the corner. He then sets up for Cross-Rhodes, but GUNTHER prevents Rhodes from landing the maneuver. Orton takes down GUNTHER with an RKO, and Rhodes follows it up with a Cross-Rhodes to Kaiser for the win.

Winners: Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton

– After the match, Kevin Owens appears out of nowhere and hits Orton with a chair. GUNTHER locks in a Sleeper on Rhodes, and officials run down to separate the two men as the show goes off the air.
