As we’ve noted, the expectation for The Undertaker at this year’s WrestleMania is that he’ll be working John Cena at the event. Cena teased the match-up a few weeks ago on RAW by saying he challenged “The Deadman” to a match at “The Showcase Of The Immortals.” He later stuck a dagger in wrestling fans’ hearts by saying he was told that match was impossible. “The Leader Of The Cenation” then went to SmackDown Live where he earned his way into tomorrow’s WWE Championship match at the Fastlane pay-per-view.

The match will be a Six Pack Challenge between WWE Champion AJ Styles, John Cena, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, and Dolph Ziggler. The winner of the match will go on to WrestleMania to defend the WWE Title against Shinsuke Nakamura. Cena has the opportunity to win a record-breaking 17th World Title tomorrow night. Unfortunately for fans of Cena, that’s not expected to happen.

In the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Live, Brian Alvarez was asked if we could possibly see the build-up to Cena vs. Undertaker on WWE TV this week. Alvarez speculated that the program could actually kickoff at tomorrow’s Fastlane event, as he doesn’t think WWE will wait for RAW to start the feud. It’s expected AJ Styles will successfully defend his title tomorrow to set up a singles match against Nakamura at WrestleMania – which has the potential to tear the house down and steal the show.

As for Cena, it’s possible Taker could accept his challenge and cost him tomorrow’s match to setup their bout at Mania. It should be interesting to see if this actually transpires during tomorrow’s PPV event.
