Fans who attended WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland may still have ringing in their ears following a raucous event in Glasgow's OVO Hydro arena.

The June 15, event marked WWE's first PLE in Scotland, and the second event under the Clash At The Castle name. In the show's main event, Damian Priest retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre, albeit thanks to an assist from CM Punk. Given the event's location, this was hardly the result the fans in Glasgow wanted for the Scottish Warrior.

Throughout Clash At The Castle and the preceding WWE SmackDown, a decibel counter was shared, encouraging the fans in the OVO Hydro to be as loud as they could. The fans in Glasgow certainly delivered, as a fan made evident on social media. The image in question shows a noise warning sent during Backlash: France and a 114-decibel alert from WWE's more recent European PLE.

It took some doing to best the crowd in the LDLC Arena last month in Lyon. The crowd at Backlash: France proved to be so loud, that a warning was sent, alerting fans of potential damage to their hearing if they remained in the venue. 114 decibels is as loud as a Diesel truck accelerating and can damage hearing if one is regularly exposed to this noise level.

Drew McIntyre will no doubt be looking for answers when he returns to the U.S. for the June 17, edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. WWE's next PLE will be Money in the Bank on July 6, from Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. WWE's next PLE outside North America will see the Superstars travel to Germany for the Bash in Berlin this August. If France and Scotland are anything to go by, expect a loud crowd inside the Uber Arena.
