First of all, cut a man some slack if I misspell some words as I wasn't class valedictorian & I'm doing this blog on my Blackberry. I know, "buy a laptop dummy." Here's my thoughts..... I get back to my hotel & there's no room service & no air conditioning. Poor me. Good to be back in Mid South country. JYD is still spoke of fondly here. Seemed like, biased opinion, Smackdown had the 2 best bouts of the nite. The IC Title match and the Ladder match. Duh. Lots of sore, bruised men after the show. Trainers & Doctors seemed to be busy. My hats off to those that worked their asses off. Strap match was in a tough spot & strap matches are challenging to begin with. Both Punk & Umaga worked hard in a tough spot. Kofi Kingston is going to be a star especially as he gets more mic time & makes the most of it. William Regal has great aggression. Happy I wasn't involved in the Hog Pen business. Whew. Once (Hershey, PA) is enough. It smelled like I was at a FFA function. That would be Future Farmers of America. I'm happy for Tommy Dreamer. Hard work & passion for his craft should pay off. Congrats Tommy! Submission bouts w/ a giant are big hills to climb. Cena-Show was about what I expected and I thought, for what it was, that each guy did great. I liked the length of the cage match & was happy that there was no outside interference. Another match that takes a physical toll on the participants. Better them than me. Rey vs Jericho was excellent. Two highly skilled, SD talents who help make Friday nights fun. I could watch these two men wrestle every night. Edge vs Jeff was the match of the night. The bar has been raised so high on these types of bouts that I don't know what some hardcore fans expect but on a personal level, I loved this one. The risks these guys took were amazing and uncomfortable to witness so up close. The Punk cashing in on the Money in the Bank contract completely surprised me. Some will like it, some might not but it certainly had fans I spoke with talking. Where all this goes has my interest. I'm happy it will be on Friday nights. Apparently SD will have the main event slot on Superstars this week, again, as we record it after Raw Monday night as it now stands. So it will be a drive to Lafayette, as scheduled, and then another drive to Biloxi Monday nite late. Grisham is a fine "wheel man." BTW we've already sold several CASES of our Original Sauce on line offering FREE shipping to selected areas. Thanks! After Sunday nite, this is going to be an especially unpredictable week for WWE TV. All I can say is "stay tuned." Lakers in 6? Stanley Cup over? Favre to Vikes by late Sept? He didn't have shoulder surgery to improve his riding lawn mower techniques. While many of the WWE's finest are currently on Burbon Street, I'll stay here in my room & consider sleeping in the tub. At least it's cool. Thanks for your business and for those of you that watched another WWE PPV. Be well...Boomer Sooner! J.R.
