The Chris Benoit Crossface biopic that’s been in the works for years is moving forward. The film about the Chris Benoit double-murder and suicide from June 2007 has been talked about for years, with the project never getting off the ground. Filmmaker Lexi Alexander has now confirmed that she’s involved with the film.
When asked by a fan on Twitter if she was in fact attached to the movie, she was surprised word got out before a formal announcement was made.
Wow. I was supposed to wait for the press release until I can talk about it…I guess someone else didn't wait https://t.co/xoppqztFvQ

We’ll have to wait for that press release to learn more production details, but Crossface will focus on the circumstances surrounding the Benoit family tragedy. The 40-year-old veteran wrestler killed his wife Nancy Benoit and strangled their 7-year-old son Daniel before hanging himself.
