QTV have their first piece of championship gold following QT Marshall's victory at this week's AAA TripleMania XXXI: Mexico City event.
The third and final TripleMania event of this year, XXXI: Mexico City followed on from April's event in Monterrey and last month's event in Tijuana.
Last month, Rey Fenix announced his departure from AAA and relinquished the AAA Latin American Championship. In a fatal four-way match to crown the next champion, Marshall was able to get the pinfall victory over Penta.
This marks Marshall's first reign as AAA Latin American Champion and his first reign of any title with the promotion. There is no word yet on whether the title will be featured on AEW programming. Marshall was in action at AAA TripleMania XXXI: Tijuana, where he defeated Pentagon Jr. in an ambulance match.
