Former WWE Superstar Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) gave his take about the possibility of former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion Conor McGregor competing in the squared circle under the WWE banner.

A few months ago, McGregor was teasing about going to the company with many people thinking it was a negotiation tactic on his part for his next fight in the UFC. Although McGregor has been hinting at getting into the ring, there are some fans who don’t think this is a real possibility.

Swagger recently did an interview with FanSided to promote his next fight under the Bellator MMA banner. During the interview, he spoke about McGregor’s chances in making the transition to WWE.

“No, he’s too short. Anyone who has that personality and he’s already larger than life would absolutely excel at it. The thing with WWE that you have to understand is that no one is bigger than WWE or the history of WWE. It’s going to be there whether you are or not. He’s already ran his mouth enough, I don’t think he would have anybody to work with.”

Swagger will take on take on T.J. Jones (1-1) at Bellator 221 on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois and will air on DAZN at 9:00 PM EST.
