Former WWE Champion AJ Styles appears to be taking some time off from WWE.
This all comes after fans noticed that WWE’s events page on their official website doesn’t have him advertised for any TV or live events starting this week until the 6/27 show in Singapore.
However, he is advertised to work the Super Showdown and Stomping Grounds events. As of this writing, he does not have opponents advertised at these events.
Styles just finished up a program on WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW, with Universal Champion Seth Rollins. He lost to Rollins in a title match at the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view event in Hartford, CT this past Sunday night.
This feud comes after Styles was moved from SmackDown Live after having a successful run as the top star on the blue brand to Raw.
WWE presents the Super ShowDown pay-per-view event on Friday, June 7th, 2019 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium that will air on the WWE Network at 2PM ET/11 AM PT. On the flip side, the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view event will take place on Sunday, June 23 at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA.
