205 Live has made some good progress in the past several months ever since Triple H took over the brand and it appears that the company has already taken the next step in the show’s evolution.

The cruiserweight talents have not been appearing on Raw in recent weeks and noticing it, a fan asked Dave Meltzer on twitter if the 205 Live stars will not be used on the Flagship Show at all now.

Answering the question, the Wrestling Journalist said that the lightweight stars are still part of the Red Brand’s Live Events, but implicated that the Cruiserweight Division is no longer part of the Televised Show itself:

@davemeltzerWON I may have missed a report on it but is 205 talent not going to be used on raw at all now? Are they officially their own brand?

They are on Raw house show tours and do prelims on Raw night but yes, no longer on Raw itself. https://t.co/q7Z4XwmhTf

For those who don’t know, it was reported after the firing of the former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore that Vince McMahon who was previously running the show had given up on the brand.

Triple H took over the duties of running the Cruiserweight Exclusive Show afterward and since then the Game has made many changes to help stabilize the brand.

Now, this latest decision which has apparently been in effect for a while essentially makes 205 Live a brand of its own and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the company tries to run 205 Live House Shows again in future.
