As noted, the Sci Fi channel would like aliens of some sort to be apart of new ECW show. There is hope the show will debut at a 1.0 rating, and after a strong showing, the program could be moved to the USA Network.
Masato Tanaka is interested in wrestling full-time for ECW. Meltzer reports that WWE has offered Tanaka a contract.
Speaking of potential ECW talent, the Pro Wrestling Insider reports that names being considered for the ECW brand include Charlie Haas, Rob Conway. Jimmy Yang (Akio), Matt Hardy, and Shannon Moore.

Hardy would be a good fit but Haas no way. Keep him on Raw and team him back up with Shelton. Raw needs a good team.

Team Haas up with Rob Conway and make them a very ego centered tag team. Hardy would be a good fit, plus Test and Ken Kennedy are supposed to go there too.

looks like a very good fit if Hass, Conway and Jimmy Yang go to ECW but Aliens on ECW thats even more laughable than some of the WWE storylines up to this date.
