Wes Lee speaks after his shocking betrayal of The Rascalz

Wes Lee will speak to the NXT Universe just one week after his stunning betrayal of Trey Miguel and Zach Wentz. What will Lee say when he grabs a mic?

Your announcers are Booker T and Vic Joseph.

We take a look back at what happened last week on NXT.

Wes Lee arrives at the building and he walks in the back and is stopped by Sarah and is asked why did he do what he did last week.

Wes walks away.

Ethan Page shows up and he switches the mic flag.

Ethan walks in the back and says that he beat Oro Mensah and Wes Lee grew a spine and got rid of some dead weight. Ethan says he is going to address the audience.

Ethan says the NXT Universe wanted Oro to beat him so badly but Oro found out that when Ethan Page says it, it happens. He said he had the skills to back it up and he has every right to call himself All Ego. He says no one is taking this title from him. Page says he heard Wes Lee chirping and he isn't getting the title. He tells Trick if he can figure out Pete Dunne, he won't be taking the title from him. He tells Pete he can break everyone one of his fingers and it will not loosen his grip on the title. The Era of Ego will roll on. Page says this is not NXT, it is NX-Me.

Joe Hendry interrupts (but no one said his name).

Joe apologizes for interrupting. He said that Ethan didn't have to say his name and he would just appear. You may think you are the talk of NXT because you are the champion. At Heatwave, you shocked the world to win the title . . . for 90 seconds until his face appeared to close the show. Joe says it was an amazing performance against Oro Mensah but the people were not talking about him.

Ethan says he does not have to listen to Joe and his opinions or rambles. He tells Joe to take his victory from last week and take his ass back to TNA. Page says he doesn't know why Joe is hanging around NXT.

Joe says he is here for the same reason everyone else is. To win the NXT Championship.

Page says it makes sense. Everyone believes in Joe Hendry. TNA believes in Joe Hendry. NXT believes in Joe Hendry. The entire world believes in Joe Hendry. The only problem is that he doesn't. Ethan says he believes that Joe's song makes him sick to his stomach every time he hears it. He believes that Joe is on the 14th minute of his 15 minutes of fame. Ethan says he believes that if Joe is silly enough to come after him for his title, he will expose Joe for the Flash in the Pan that he is.

Joe says Ethan can call him a flash in the pan, but he is not an overnight success. He has been doing this for over ten years and he makes believers out of everyone, including Hall of Famers like Kurt Angle and Booker T. Joe says Shawn Michaels believes in him. Joe says he will make a believer out of Ethan when he wins the championship and he will take it to London, Paris, Tokyo, and the rest of the cities in his song.

Wes Lee attacks Joe Hendry while he waves his arms back and forth and Page likes what he sees.

Wren enters TRAINING ROOM and interrupts Charlie's training and she says that he will win the title. Wren acknowledges that Tavion is really in Japan. Charlie says he has waited three months to get this title back.

Ava is in ROOM with all of the Women and she mentions Stevie Turner's idea. Next week there will be a gauntlet Eliminator featuring people who have not wrestled for the title. The winner faces Roxanne Perez at No Mercy.

Stevie says there will be six competitors chosen at random.

The first person is Wren Sinclair. Adriana Rizzo is the next in the gauntlet. Third is Sol Ruca.

Stone tells Ava that it was his idea, not Stevie's

Tony D'Angelo vs Charlie Dempsey

Round One

Tony with a double leg take down and punches. Tony with a waist lock take down and Charlie with a side head lock. Tony with a reversal. Tony with a shoulder tackle and Charlie rolls to the ropes. Tony with a fireman's carry but Charlie with a chin lock. Tony blocks a take down but Charlie with a chin lock. Charlie with a wrist lock and a wrist lock take down. Charlie with a hammer lock and he works on the other arm.

Tony goes for a spinebuster but Charlie counters with a guillotine and a double wrist lock. Tony backs Charlie into the turnbuckles. Charlie with a double underhook and Tony backs Charlie into the turnbuckles. Charlie has a kick blocked and Tony with a rollup for a near fall. Charlie with a triangle. Tony goes for a one arm power bomb but Charlie counters. Tony wtih a double leg take down and back drop. Charlie with a sunset flip into a knee bar.

Round Two

Tony with a take down for a near fall. Charlie gets to the ropes to stop a rollup by Tony. Charlie with a knee and cravate. Charlie with a shoulder tackle and he blocks a hip toss and he gets a rollup for a near fall. Tony with an inside cradle and he rolls through into Fuggedaboiutit and the three count.

Tony with a running forearm and a clothesline for a near fall. Tony sends Charlie to the floor and he gets back to the apron. Tony with a punch and he tries to suplex Charlie back into the ring but Charlie blocks it. Charlie with a neck breaker against the ropes. Charlie with a boot to the head and more kicks to Tony. Charlie returns to the cravate. Tony with a punch and he backs Charlie into the corner.

Tony with shoulders and punches. Tony goes for a chop but Charlie with a knee and European uppercuts. Charlie with a hard Irish whip. Tony with punches but Charlie with a hip toss. Tony kicks Charlie away but Charlie with a boot tot he head. Charlie with a head lock and Tony with an Irish whip. Tony with another Irish whip but Charlie stops in the corner and gets a near fall with a rollup. Charlie with European uppercuts and Tony with a back slide as the round ends.

Charlie hits Tony after the round ends.

Wren slaps Charlie in the corner after the round.

Round Four

Tony with a rollup for a near fall. Charlie with kicks in the corner followed by a European uppercut. Charlie kicks Tony and the referee pulls Charlie away. Tony wit a clothesline and punches. Tony with clotheslines and a belly-to-belly suplex. Tony with a power slam and he gets a near fall. Charlie counters Fuggedaboutit with an inside cradle for a near fall.

Tony with a German suplex and Charlie with a waist lock. Tony with a standing switch and Charlie runs Tony into the turnbuckles and gets a three count with a rollup and bridge.

Charlie with a cravate take down for a near fall. Tony gets a near fall. Tony with a spinebuster for a near fall. Tony with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Charlie with a double underhook and Charlie with a cross arm breaker when Tony tries to escape. Tony rolls through and gets a near fall while Charlie has Tony in a triangle. Tony with a one arm power bomb and Charlie rolls to the apron.

Tony puts Charlie on the turnbuckles and Tony knocks Myles off the turnbuckles. Tony hip tosses Lorenzo onto Myles. Wren knocks Charlie off the turnbuckles and Charlie with a butterfly suplex and bridge for the three count.

Winner: Charlie Dempsey (new champion)


Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice walk in the back and talk about Jordan's match against Tatum. They see Tatum playing with her doll. Lola says that everything will be okay but Tatum says that Kelani, Wendy, and Lola are not her friends. She says that Lola had everything handed to her.

Eddy Thorpe says he does not want to assimilate to life outside the reservation. Music and dance is important to his people and Lexis King does not understand.

Lexis says music is important but it has to be the right music. Eddy's music is a disgrace and it is the devil's music. Eddy wants another shot at the King. Eddy is moronic as the music he creates.

We go to commercial.


Eddy Thorpe vs Lexis King

King attacks Eddy from behind in the aisle.

The match is started and Eddy with kicks to King and a running back elbow. Eddy with a front face lock and punch using the injured hand. King with forearms and he sends Eddy shoulder first into the ring post. King stomps on the injured hand and he slams the hand to the mat. King drops Eddy's arm on the top rope. King with forearms and Eddy with a back body drop. Eddy with chops and King sends Eddy into the ropes with a drop toe hold. Eddy with chops and a kick to the arm. Eddy with a German suplex. Eddy with a leaping elbow drop and he goes for the Impaler DDT. King with a side Russian leg sweep.

King with Coronation for the three count.

Trick Williams tells Pete they need to talk about it. He says he will figure out Dunne. He says he fixes problems. Best friend stabs him in the back and he walks out of the biggest show with the win. He can't beat the Mad Dragon and he wins the title. Trick says he was also assaulted when he was 18. He says some people broke his car windows and he confronted them and got beaten up but he got back at them. Trick says he isn't looking for advice, he is coming for a rematch and he says he will figure him out.

Kelly asks Pete Dunne if we will get the rematch.

Pete says Trick has a lot to figure out so it won't happen. Pete says he is moving forward to the NXT Championship.

We see Fallon Henley complaining about what Lash did in college and Lash points out that Jazmyn was a college athlete. Jacy says that everyone should be like Jazmyn and follow them.

Kelani joins Vic and Booker at the announce table.


Lola Vice vs Tatum Paxley

Lola with a side head lock and take down. Lola with a rollup for a near fall. Lola misses a round kick. Tatum sends Lola into the turnbuckles and hits a cross body to the back. Tatum with a round kick for a near fall. Tatum with a forearm to the back and Lola misses a clothesline but hits a power slam. Lola goes Shakira and hits a running hip into the corner. Lola with a kick for a near fall. Tatum with a sunset flip for a near fall. Tatum with a drop kick and a Maple Leaf.

Wendy Choo comes through the crowd and she attacks Jordan.

Tatum gets distracted and she hits Psycho Trap and goes up top but misses a move from the turnbuckles. Lola with a back elbow for the three count.

Lola helps Tatum up while Wendy stands over Jordan.


We go back to OFFICE and Rizzo wants to hug Ava for picking her name out of the tumbler.

The fourth entrant is Jaida Parker. The fifth person is Kendal Grey. The final person in the match is Karmen Petrovic.

Brinley and Karmen talk about how long they have been doing it and Reece hopes that Karmen wins.

Izzi Dame says she should have been in the match.

Wes Lee walks in BACK.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Wes Lee makes his way to the ring.

Wes says he gets it. Last week shocked the world. He says he shocked himself too. He believed that he was going to win the tag titles with his best friend. Zach let him down, again. This goes back to two years ago when Zach first let him down. One of the greatest tag teams in NXT history . . . done. MSK was dead and when all of that happened, everyone felt sad for Zach. They weren't feeling sorry for him. They doubted him. They asked what is next for him and who would be his new tag team partner. Wes says he dried his tears, picked himself up and busted his ass to become the greatest North American champion. You all witnessed it first hand. Zach and Trey were not here. They reunited in TNA and killed it while Wes broke his back to become a top star in NXT.

Wes says all of us aspire to reach greatness together. We want to have a legacy that lives beyond their years. Wes says he was the one to achieve that greatness. You don't know this but Zach does. Wes says he is done being a caretaker. He is done worry about what you are going to say or do. Wes says he was the one who kept everyone together as the Rascalz. He says he was driving them everywhere. He says he is tired of taking care of him.

Wes says where he wants to go, he knows he cannot have his best friends riding his coat tails. The ony reason they came back was for the WWE rub. Wes says he knows how this is going to go. He knows that they are going to have a match and you want to get your hands on him. No Mercy is coming, but when they have their match, you are going to learn first hand that everything he said here is true. He will show no mercy when he beats the living hell out of you.

When that is done, you and Trey can go back to TNA and have a wonderful career as a TNA wrestler. Wes says he will focus on bigger and better things, like the NXT Championship. Wes says he wishes them the best in their future endeavors.

Pete Dunne makes his way to the ring.

He says he is impressed. Finally, someone has figured it out. Don't get too carried away because he beat Trick last week and his eyes are fixed on the NXT Championship.

Joe Hendry interrupts and he attacks Wes from behind and then he connects with an uppercut. Dunne takes care of Joe and Wes.

Officials and security separate them.

Axiom and Frazer are with Kelly and she asks if they will be successful again tonight.

Frazer says they have not been on the same page recently and Axiom says that is a thing of the past. Frazer says they are locked in and their focus is on defending the tag titles. Axiom says they are locked in and he says tonight will end the same way it did last week.

We see Tony in WAREHOUSE and he is asked about what happened.

Oba Femi walks past and he says it is time for his open challenge. He mentions that Otis crossed his path last night and he will take care of him tonight.

We go to commercial.

We are back in the Chase U Locker Room.

Duke apologizes to Ridge and he says all that matters is them winning the titles. Riley says one winning means everyone winning. Ridge says he is so excited for tonight. Ridge says Thea believed in him and that means so much to him. Ridge says his intentions are pure and he feels that they are all behind him. Ridge says he will make sure that they win the titles tonight.


North American Championship Match
Oba Femi vs Otis (w/ Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri)

They lock up and Otis backs Oba into the corner but Oba gets him into the corner. Oba with a clean break. They lock up again and Oba pushes Otis away. Oba pushes Otis and Otis pushes Oba. Oba with a kick and side head lock. Otis blocks a side head lock take down. Oba with a shoulder tackle and Otis bounces off the ropes. They do it a few more times and then Otis sends Oba to the floor with a shoulder tackle.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Oba with a rear chin lock. We see footage from the commercial when Oba sent Otis into the ring post. Otis backs Oba into the corner to get out of the hold. Otis with a side slam for a near fall. Oba rolls to the floor and Otis follows. Oba chops Otis and he falls to the apron. Oba with a running corkscrew uppercut and Otis falls into the ring steps. Oba goes back to the floor and rolls Otis back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Oba with a series of elbow drops for a near fall. Oba with a running uppercut into the corner followed by two more. Oba gets a near fall. Oba sets for a power bomb but Otis counters with a back body drop.

Otis with forearms and a head butt and a running shoulder into the corner. Otis misses a splash into the corner when Oba moves. Oba with a forearm to the back of the neck and Otis falls through the ropes to the floor. Oba goes to the floor and he chops Tozawa on the apron. Otis gets up and he is not happy because Oba hurt his friend. Otis with a clothesline and Otis with a shoulder tackle and a back fist. Otis with back elbows in the corner followed by a clothesline. Otis with a slam and the vest comes off. Otis with a caterpillar and elbow drop for a near fall. Otis goes to the turnbuckles for a Vader Bomb and he gets a near fall.

Otis goes to the turnbuckles for punches and Oba grabs Otis for a sit out power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Oba Femi (retains championship)


Brooks Jensen says he was in a dark place and he was spiraling out of control. He says he hit rock bottom. They were looking out for him but those were empty words. There was one man who vouched for him and stuck his neck out to keep his job. Brooks says he was doing dumb things, but he made sure he got home every night. Friends turn on each other. Finally he has someone looking out for him besides Brooks Jensen.

Brooks asks if that worked and Spears says that was perfect.

Edris and Malik are in LOCKER ROOM and Edris says they need to do something for Brooks. Malik says Brooks is being manipulated.

Hank and Tank talk about their match against the Good Brothers next week.


Izzi Dame vs Brinley Reece

They lock up and Izzi with a waist lock take down. Reece with a wrist lock and Izzi with a reversal. Reece goes for a sunset flip but Izzi blocks it and she sends Reece into the corner. Izzi misses a splash and Reece with a roundoff clothesline. Reece with a wrist lock into an arm bar. Reece goes for an O'Connor Roll but Izzi holds on to the ropes. Izzi with a shoulder tackle and a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Izzi with a running shoulder into the corner. Izzi gets a near fall. Izzi with an Irish whip and clothesline. Izzi with another Irish whip and she runs into a boot. Reece with a back elbow and Izzi with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.

Izzi with a back breaker over the shoulder and Reece escapes and gets back to her feet. Izzi tries for another back breaker but Reece gets to her feet. Izzi runs into a knee and Reece with a shoulder tackle off the turnbuckles and some more. Reece with punches. Izzi with a knee to the midsection. Reece with a delayed back drop for a near fall. Reece gets Izzi on her shoulders and Izzi gets back to her feet and she connects with a forearm. Reece sends izzi into the turnbuckles. Izzi stops a roundoff clothesline with a boot and Izzi with a Side Effect for the three count.

Ava is with Kelly in the back.

Kelly asks about next week's show and Ava says we will have the Gauntlet Eliminator to see who faces Roxanne at No Mercy. Joe Hendry, Wes Lee, and Pete Dunne will meet to see who faces Ethan Page at No Mercy.

Roxanne Perez shows up and she says she got her break in the breakout tournament. No one is on her level now. Now someone can get on her level and try to become a star and the next Roxanne Perez. The only problem is that they will be waiting a long time before getting close to her title.

Chase U walks in WAREHOUSE

Axiom and Nathan Frazer walk in HALLWAY.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ashate Thee Adonis says that he knows that everyone wants the NXT Championship but they should be shooting for him. Adonis looks around at the women and he realizes that people are gathering around Dion Lennox.

Adonis says game recognize game and he says the bookworm thing isn't his style.

Dion says he is being himself.

Adonis says they will meet next week in the ring.

In addition to the matches announced earlier by Ava, Hank and Tank will face Gallows and Anderson. Lola Vice faces Wendy Choo.


NXT Tag Team Championships Match
Andre Chase and Ridge Holland vs Axiom and Nathan Frazer

Chase and Axiom start things off and Axiom with a side head lock but Chase with a knee to the midsection for a near fall. Frazer tags in and he gets a near fall after a rollup. Frazer with a drop kick and Ridge tags in and connects with a shoulder tackle. Frazer with knees to escape a suplex. Axiom tags in and Ridge is sent to the floor. Axiom kicks Ridge and Axiom with a German suplex to Chase. Frazer and Axiom with suicide dives onto Ridge and Chase. Axiom sends Ridge back into the ring and applies a front face lock. Ridge gets Axiom up for a suplex and hits a delayed vertical suplex. Chase tags in and he applies a waist lock. Axiom with a clothesline and Frazer tags in. Axiom with a drop kick followed by a double super kick for a near fall.

Frazer with a suplex to Chase for a near fall. Chase with an inside cradle for a near fall. Frazer with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Frazer with a cobra clutch. Chase with elbows but Frazer trips Chase and he goes for a springboard move. Chase goes for a uranage but Fraxer counters with a snap mare. Both men with clotheslines and both go down. Ridge and Axiom tag in and Ridge with clotheslines to Axiom. Ridge with an arm trapped overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Fraer. Ridge with a Dominator for a near fall on Axiom. Ridge sets for a suplex but Axiom with an enzuigiri. Axiom with a kick in the corner.

Axiom goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a frog splash. Frazer goes up top and hits a 450 splash for a near fall. Axiom tags in and he kicks Ridge. Frazer with kicks as well. Ridge with a clothesline to Frazer and he runs Axiom into the turnbuckles. Chase tags in and hits a double stomp to the back and Ridge with a power slam for a near fall.

Chase goes for a Tiger Driver but Axiom escapes and he kicks Chase on the turnbuckles. Frazer tags in and Axiom goes for a super kick on Ridge but he almost hits Frazer. Axiom kicks Ridge and htis a suicide dive. Frazer with a superplex and Chasing the Dragon for a near fall. Axiom kicks Chase in the chest many times. Chase blocks a kick and he chops Axiom many times. Axiom with a clothesline. Chase with a running boot and Frazer tags in and he misses a springboard move. Ridge and Chase hit a lungblower and power bomb combination for a near fall. Ridge pulls Frazer off the mat and Frazer lands on his feet and he kicks Ridge. Axiom tags in. They set for the Spanish Fly and Phoenix Splash combination but Chase pushes Frazer off the turnbuckles. Axiom with a Golden Ratio to Chase.

Ridge with a clothesline and a package DDT for the three count.
