While Owen Hart may not be in the WWE Hall Of Fame, he was inducted into the Lous Thesz/George Targos Hall of Fame this past Saturday.
To accept the award in his honor was Davey Boy Smith, Adam Pearce, Diana Hart, Bruce Hart, Ross Hart, and Keith Hart.
Owen will go down with the names like Dan Severn, Booker T, Bruiser Brody, Ben Askern, and Koji Miyamoto.
#OwenHart wasn’t only a tremendous and gifted athlete: he was also a dedicated family man. It’s fitting to have so many members of the #HartFamily with us to induct Owen into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame. #Thesz pic.twitter.com/CihON8qCkr

It’s no secret that Owen’s widow doesn’t want him in the WWE Hall Of Fame as it’s the same company responsible for his death. It has been reported that Martha doesn’t want WWE to profit off his name if he is to be inducted and has made several in the industry very upset.
Bret Hart has even gone as far as to blame Martha for “erasing” Owen from WWE history as she doesn’t want Owen to be promoted. More on that here.
Maybe this could be the right step in persuading Martha into eventually letting Owen into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
