Raj Dhesi will be competing for Black Label Pro Wrestling this coming July, in his first booking following his release from WWE.

Dhesi was among those cut by WWE in April 2024 after working for the promotion for years as Jinder Mahal. During his tenure, Dhesi captured the WWE and United States Championships and was part of a segment with The Rock in January of this year.

Dhesi will be competing for Black Label Pro at the promotion's upcoming Old Habits Die Screaming event on July 26. The show will be held at the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, IL. An opponent has yet to be confirmed for the former WWE World Champion.

As of writing, this will be Dhesi's first match since his WWE release. Dhesi's most recent match was on the April 5, 2024, episode of SmackDown where he was part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The upcoming show will mark Dhesi's first match since 2016.

Following his release, it was said that wrestling promotions were 'foaming at the mouth' to work with Dhesi and that he had received "heavy interest" as a free agent. Game Changer Wrestling was one such promotion that has shown interest in him. With this in mind, the upcoming Black Label Pro show may be just the first of several major events for Dhesi who would be poised to take the independent scene by storm.
